ASSEMBLY & OPERATION
UNPACKING
Remove all the components and the Sandblast Cabinet from the carton. Empty the
contents inside the cabinet. Remove the white protective film on the clear window.
ASSEMBLY
1) Install the air inlet (A) Fig.1 to the right side of the cabinet. It is recommended to install
the long end of the fitting outside the cabinet, as shown. Make sure all parts are
tightened properly to avoid air leaks.
2) From the inside of the cabinet, install the small clear air inlet hose (A) Fig.2 to the air
inlet (B). Secure the air inlet hose to the air inlet using one of the hose clamps.
3) Secure the other end of the air inlet hose (A) Fig.2 to the small opening of the sandblast
gun (C). Secure the air inlet hose to the gun using the other hose clamp.
4) Slide the large media hose (D) Fig.2 onto the media collecting pipe (E). Position the
media collecting pipe under the cabinet grill (F), and connect the other end of the large
media hose (D) to the large opening (G) of the sandblast gun.
5) This Sandblast Cabinet comes with an LED light (A) Fig.3. To use the LED light,
connect the power adaptor connector (A) Fig.4. Connect the 120V plug end into a
suitable power outlet, and turn the LED light on by using the On/Off switch (B).
OPERATION
Sandblasting presents a real hazard of silicosis and other lung contamination injuries!
These injuries are permanent and can get worse over time. If you use sandblasting
equipment without the proper protection, your lungs and eyes may become irreversibly
contaminated. DO NOT use this sandblaster unless you know how to use it and protect
yourself correctly.
If you have never used this type of machine or equipment before, WE STRONGLY
RECOMMEND that you read books, trade magazines, or get formal training before
beginning any projects.
WEAR SAFETY GLASSES AND RESPIRATOR AT ALL TIMES WHEN USING OR
MAINTAINING THIS SANDBLAST CABINET.
1) Before using the Sandblast Cabinet, it is recommended to turn on the LED light for
improved visibility.
2) 4 nozzles are provided with this Sandblast Cabinet, each nozzle has a different inner
diameter. Install the nozzle that best suits your needs.
3) Without creating a large dust cloud, slowly empty up to 10 lbs of abrasive media into
the cabinet, making sure the abrasive media covers the collecting pipe (E) Fig.2.
4) Place your workpiece inside the cabinet.
5) Connect an air hose from your compressor (compressor capable of maintaining 5 CFM
at 80 PSI) to the air inlet on the right side of the cabinet. Because of the variation in air
supply systems, a standard 1/4” NPT air inlet is not provided. Use a fitting that is
compatible with your air supply system. If you want to use a 1/4” NPT air inlet, simply
unscrew the standard inlet and replace it with a 1/4” NPT air inlet.
*DO NOT OPERATE THIS SANDBLAST CABINET AT OVER 100 PSI.
