F90 Series Laser Phosphor Colour Wheel Options
Barco F90 series laser phosphor based single-chip projectors are available with 2 colour wheel
options*¹. All colour wheels are designed ‘in-house’ and offer optimal performance across a multitude
of applications. Please see below for further information:-
Color:
For great depth of colour and broad Gamut. ‘Color’ colour wheels can
achieve Rec. 709 colour space.
Typical applications: post production, home theatre, simulation,
visualisation, collaboration room, visitor attraction and multi-channel
applications.
Brightness:
Perfectly suited to larger venues where brightness and colour are of equal
importance.

- All projectors will ship with the Brightness colour wheel fitted as standard.
- The colour wheel assembly comprises a fully integrated cassette which can easily be changed by
the end user (no previous service knowledge or certification is required). Substituting the cassette
ensures that the projector operating Firmware is updated automatically.
- The Brightness colour wheel should not be confused with the High Brightness Colour Wheel used
in lamp based projectors. The former has no white segment, colour performance is significantly
improved, it can be used in conjunction with digital blending without adverse effect.
