• Remove all packaging material from the product and be careful not to throw away accessories that may be hidden
within the packaging material. If assembly is required, place the luminaire on a smooth non-scratch surface.

• Ensure power to the circuit you are working on has been switched OFF before commencing any electrical work.

1. Remove the mounting bracket from the luminaire by loosening the screws at the top and bottom.
2. Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark the screw positions on the wall.
3. Install the mounting bracket onto the wall using appropriately sized mounting screws and anchors. Ensure the
screws and anchors used are suitable for the mounting surface and the surrounding environment.
4. a) Loosen the 4 screws from the terminal box.
b) Remove the cover from the terminal box.
c) Remove the seal from the terminal box.
d) Feed the mains supply cable into the terminal box.
e) Connect the mains supply wire to the terminal block. Ensure that the wires are secure, and no bare wires
are exposed.

Earth – Yellow/Green Yellow/Green or
Neutral – Blue or Black Blue or N
Live – Brown or Red Brown or L
NOTE: The luminaire is a Class I product and must be earthed during wiring and installation.
f) Install the seal back onto the terminal box.
g) Install the cover back onto the terminal box.
h) Install the 4 screws to secure and maintain the IP44 rating of the terminal box.
NOTE: Depending on the mains supply wire, a non-corrosive bead of silicone might be required at the cord
entry/exit points of the terminal box to ensure that no water can run down into the cabling and enter
the terminal box.
5. Install the luminaire, back onto the mounting bracket.
NOTE: Take note of the directional label on the luminaire.
6. Secure the luminaire by tightening the screws at the top and bottom.
7. Remove the shade from the luminaire.
8. Install a globe (not included) into the lamp holder. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
9. Install the shade back onto the luminaire.

• After the luminaire has been fully installed, switch on the luminaire to test and enjoy your new lighting product.
