• Open the LtAP mini case by unscrewing the back
screws.
• Disconnect the LTE antenna connectors from the

tape, so they do not short the parts on the PCB.
• Drill holes in the case for ANT1/ANT2 and optionally
for GPS, if an external GPS antenna will be used.
• Screw in the SMA pigtails into the holes and tighten
them.
• Connect the ANT1 SMA pigtail to the modem AUX
connector and ANT SMA pigtail to modem MAIN
connector.
• (Optional) Connect the GPS SMA pigtail to the GPS
ufl connector. Apply some glue/silicone on top of the
pigtail so the ufl connector doesn’t break o during
the movement of the device.
• Close the case and make sure that the pigtail cable
doesn’t get damaged and doesn’t disconnect from
the ufl connector.
• Reinsert the case screws and tighten them.
• Attach the SMA cables to the LtAP mini ANT1/AND2
and tighten them. Attach and tighten the other end of
the cables to the LTE antenna.
• Attach the GPS antenna SMA cable to the GPS SMA
connector on the LtAP mini.
• Mount the LTE antenna to the pole. Mount the GPS
antenna to a metallic surface using the magnet or use
