These operating instructions are part of this product. They contain important notes on
commissioning and handling. Also consider this if you pass on the product to any third party.

2. Intended use
This product is intended for use as universal vacuum cleaner for domestic use. It has not been designed
for industrial or commercial use. Never use the vacuum cleaner outdoors or in a garage.
Unauthorized modications and/or alterations to the product are not permitted due to safety and approval
reasons. Use of the product other than for its intended use described here is prohibited and may result in
damage to the product. It may also related to hazards such as short-circuit, re, electric shock, etc. Read
this user manual completely before rst use and keep it for future reference. Make this product available
to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

5. Safety instructions
a) Important safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially
observe the safety information. If you do not follow the safety
instructions and information on proper handling in this manual,
we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or
damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/
guarantee.
This appliance can be used by children 8 years old and above
and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge only if
they are given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with this device.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by
children if not supervised.
Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to repair the device by
yourself. In case of any failure, have the device repaired by a
qualied expert.
Caution! Do not vacuum liquids, inammable materials, hot
objects or burning ashes.
Warning! Never immerse electric components of the device
into water or other liquids during cleaning or operation. Do not
hold the device under running water.
Always disconnect the mains plug before cleaning or when not
using the device for a longer period of time.

Regularly check the mains plug and mains cable for damage. If
the mains cable of this device is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its customer service, or any other qualied
person in order to avoid hazards.
Caution! Keep people and pets away from any suction opening!
Do not use the device on people or pets! Risk of injury!
b) General safety instructions
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous
playing material for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, ammable gases, vapours and solvents.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it
from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage
the product.
Observe all safety warnings in order to avoid damage from improper use! Observe all warnings
on the device as well as in these operating instructions.
Keep the operating instructions for future use. When handing over this device to third parties,
make sure to include these operating instructions as well.
In case of improper use or wrong handling, we are not liable for any damage resulting thereof.
Use the device only as intended. The device is not suitable for commercial use. The device has
been designed for indoor and for domestic use only.
Before connecting the device to the mains, make sure the current and mains voltage match the
specications on the rating label.
Never use the device if damaged! Disconnect the device from the mains and contact your
customer service, if the device has been damaged in any way.
Avoid damaging the cable by jamming, bending or rubbing it on sharp edges. Keep it away from
hot surfaces and open ames.
Guide the cable in such a way that it cannot be pulled down or tripped over accidentally.

When using an extension cable, it must be suitable for the respective power used.
Never operate the device with wet hands or when standing on a wet oor. Never touch the mains
plug with wet or moist hands.
Never open the housing. Do not insert any objects into the housing.
The use of accessories not explicitly recommended by the manufacturer could cause injuries and
damage. Only use original accessories.
Do not place any heavy objects on the device. Do not place objects with open ames such as
candles next to the device. Do not place any objects lled with water such as vases next to the
device.
Keep the device away from hot surfaces and open ames. Protect the device from extreme heat
and cold, dust, direct sunlight, humidity, and dripping and splashing water.
Do not wind the mains cable around the device.
Connect the mains plug to an easily accessible wall socket in order to be able to quickly disconnect
the device in case of emergencies. Unplug the mains plug from the wall socket in order to fully
switch o the device. The mains plug is the disconnecting device that must be accessible at all
times.
For additional protection, we recommend installing a residual current device (RCD) with a trip
current of maximum 30 mA into the power circuit used by the device. The installation must be
carried out by an experienced electrician.
Do not leave the device unattended when in use or while connected to a wall socket.
If the hose or tubes are blocked, remove any objects before using the device again.
Regularly check the suction hose for damage. A damaged hose must not be used.
Do not store or place the device on hot surfaces.
Carry the device by its handle only. Do not carry it by its suction hose or mains cable.
Only use accessories included in the delivery scope.
Caution! Disconnect the device from the mains during installation or maintenance and when
attaching/ removing accessories!
Make sure the surface to be vacuumed is dry, in order to prevent damage to the device. Especially
when shampooing carpets, make sure the carpet has been dried completely.
Remove pointed, sharp or very large objects before vacuuming, in order to prevent damage to the
device.
Never use the device without the lter being installed!
Static charge: Caution – Using the device and telescopic tube can cause static charge.
Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
Maintenance, modications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a
qualied shop.

A) Button – retracting the mains cable: Press this button to retract the mains cable.
B) Button – on/o: Press this button to switch the device on or o.
C) Rotary knob – power control: Use the power control to reduce the power (turn towards “min”) or to
increase the power (turn towards “max”).
D) Indicator: The ll level indicator usually indicates how full the dust bag is. The more red bars are
visible, the higher the internal air resistance of the vacuum cleaner. That can be caused by
a) a full dust bag.
b) a clogged lter.
The ll level indicator only works during operation of the device.

Push the slide control on the telescopic tube forward and adjust the length as desired.

Properly insert the hose end with the two lateral nubs into the vacuum opening and then secure the hose
by turning it clockwise by approx. 30°.

Adjust the suction power using the slide control on the handle:
Position A: lots of additional air, low suction power.
Position B: no additional air, strong suction power.

Depending on the application, use the crevice, furniture or oor nozzle accordingly.
Use the lever to adjust the oor nozzle according to the oor properties.
In general, the following applies:
Position A: extracted brushes for hard and scratch-sensitive surfaces.
Position B: retracted brushes for soft surfaces.

c) Additional nozzles
Open the accessory compartment cover by pressing the “Push” button.
There are holders with crevice and furniture nozzles inside.
Insert the additional nozzles into the holders in such a way that you can close the cover
without any resistance.

d) Opening the housing cover and replacing the dust bag
In order to replace the dust bag and inner lter, open the housing by slightly pushing in the handle from
below and then lifting it up.
Lift up the bag holder including the dust bag from the guide rails in a vertical motion.

Carefully remove the bag from the holder, making sure not to release any dust.
Slide a new, empty dust bag into the bag holder.
Slide the bag holder including the dust bag back onto the guide rails inside the vacuum cleaner (not
shown).
Close the housing.
The housing cannot be closed without a vacuum bag inserted.

8. Troubleshooting
WARNING!
Before carrying out any troubleshooting measures according to the below instructions, make
sure the device is switched o, disconnected from the mains and has cooled down completely.
Keep the device away from children and pets!
The product does not turn on
Check if the mains plug has been connected properly. Disconnect the power plug from the power outlet
and plug it back in after 10 seconds.
Make sure the wall socket is live. Plug a dierent device into the power outlet. If the product does not
turn on, consult an electrician.
Poor suction power
Check if the dust bag is full and replace it if necessary.
Check if the tube, hose or other accessories are blocked. If so, remove the cause accordingly.
Clean or replace the lter.
The motor creates abnormal noise
Stop using the device immediately.
Check if the tube, hose or other accessories are blocked. If so, remove the cause accordingly. If the
problem continues to exist, switch o the device. Unplug the mains plug and consult an expert.

9. Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING!
Before cleaning, make sure the device is switched o, disconnected from the mains and has
cooled down completely. Keep the device away from children and pets!
Never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
a) Filter maintenance
CAUTION!
Never use the device with wet lters, in order to avoid product damage!
Clean the lters with water only if they are dirty. Otherwise, remove dust by gently tapping the lters.
Replace the lters, if they are heavily stained or damaged in any way.
Remove the inner lter from the guide rails in a vertical, upwards motion.
Remove the lter eece and then clean or replace it.

Lift the cover by its two lugs and remove it.
There is a grey lter pad located on the inside of the cover. Remove this pad for cleaning. Properly
insert the pad again after cleaning.
Remove the exhaust lter and then clean or replace it.

b) Cleaning other parts
Disconnect the nozzles from the telescopic tube. Remove any objects inside the parts.
Clean the device with a slightly damp cloth. Make sure no moisture enters the device during cleaning.
Do not use corrosive cleaning agents, wire brushes, abrasive cleaners, or metal or sharp objects for
cleaning the device.
Thoroughly dry the device after cleaning.
c) Storage
Always switch o the device and disconnect it from the mains before storing.
Store the device at a cool, dry and clean place out of reach of children and pets.
Keep the packaging. Store the device in its packaging when not using it for a longer period of time.
After use, attach the hook of the oor nozzle to the suspension on the bottom of the device.

10. Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory
guidelines.
You thus full your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
