IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before using the electrical appliance, the included basic precautions should always
befollowed:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE 1.5 CUP MINI CHOPPER
2. Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. This product
isnotintended for use by children. Extra caution is necessary when using
thisappliance near children.
3. Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet and the all
parts stopped before assembling, disassembling, relocating, or cleaning it.
4. Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use. Always unplug
theproduct from the electrical outlet when not in use.
5. Do not place the base, power cord, or plug of this product in or expose the parts
to water or other liquids.
6. Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hair, hands, ngers, or any other
body part from coming into contact with the moving parts while the product
isoperating.
7. Keep hands and utensils away from moving Blades while operating the product.
A scraper may be used but only when the product is not operating.
8. Keep the power cord and product away from heated surfaces.
9. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
10. Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the product manufacturer.
11. Never place cutting Blades on the Base without rst putting the Bowl properly
inplace.
12. Always ensure the cover is securely locked in place before operating the product.
13. Do not attempt to defeat the cover interlock mechanism.
14. Do not plug or unplug the product into/from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
15. To disconnect from an electrical outlet, ensure the product is off and then pull
directly on the plug; do not pull on the power cord.
16. Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the product,
asthepower cord could fray and break.
17. Always assemble the product completely before plugging it into
anelectricaloutlet.
18. Do not operate the product if it has a damaged or cut power cord orplug, ifwires
are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, orifthemotor
housing is dropped in or exposed to water. This product hasnouser-serviceable
parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Only qualied
service personnel should perform any servicing; take theproduct to the appliance
repair shop of your choice for inspection and repair.
CAUTION-- To reduce the risk of personal injury or product/property damage:
1. This product is intended for use in indoor, non-commercial, non-industrial
chopping of foods for human consumption. Do not use the product outdoors
orfor any other purpose.

SAFEGUARDS
1. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled
in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord is not recommended for use
with this product, but if one must be used:

3. If the product is of a 3-prong grounding type, the extension cord must
beagrounding-type 3-wire cord.
4. Arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop
ortabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.
Notes on the plug
This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other
blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will
t into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into
theelectrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not t, contact
aqualied electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully
insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat
the safety purpose of the polarized plug.
Electric power
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance
may not operate properly. It should be operated on a separate electrical circuit
fromother appliances.

Before using the Kitchensmith mini chopper for the rst time
1. Remove product parts from packaging and disassemble. To remove the container bowl from the base,
turn container bowl counterclockwise.
NOTE: Container bowl may be slightly difcult to remove when product is new. To aid removal,
placethebase onto its side on a soft surface and then turn container bowl rmly to remove.
2. Thoroughly wash the cover, the container bowl, and the blades in warm, soapy water. Rinse and let dry.
To assemble and disassemble the mini chopper.
WARNING: Ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet before assembling it. Handletheblades
with care as they are extremely sharp. Use caution when attaching, detaching, cleaning, orstoring the blades.
1. Ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
2. Place the Base on a at, level, stable surface.
3. Insert the container bowl over the metal shaft and turn the container bowl clockwise until the safety
latches of the container bowl lock to the base (preventing the container bowl from detaching).
4. Attach the blades by holding the plastic shaft end (end opposite of the blades) and inserting the blade
shaft over thecenter column of the container bowl until secure.
5. Attach the cover after inserting the food into thecontainerbowl.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The cover must be securely locked into its
position before the food processor will operate. When properly
locked, the arrow inscribed on the cover handle must align with
the arrow inscribed on the base
(near the On/Pulse button).
Operating instructions
NOTICE: Do not process raw meat, cheese, coffee beans, or whole
squares of chocolate in this product, asproduct damage could
result.
1. Cut the food into small pieces, as needed.
NOTE: Hard vegetables, such as raw carrots, may require
splitting and/or quartering in order to allow smooth operation and movement of the blades.
2. Place the food into the container bowl. Do not ll past the maximum capacity of 1½ cups.
3. Attach and gently secure the cover onto the container bowl (reference the “To Assemble” section).
4. Plug the product into a standard 120 volt AC electrical outlet.
5. Press the Pulse button to begin processing the food.
6. To stop processing, release the Pulse Button.
7. Wait until the blades and metal shaft have completely stopped before removing the cover
oranycontents.
8. Unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it is not in use or is left unattended.
WARNING: Overlling the container bowl could cause spillage, resulting in serious burns and/or property/
product damage.
Tips:
• Meat, Chopped Cut 180g into 20~25mm block , Pulse on 30s.
• Carrot, Chopped Cut 200g into 20~25mm block , Pulse on 30s.
NOTE: Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 30 seconds at a time.
Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING: To avoid the risk of electric shock, always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical
outlet before assembling, disassembling, relocating, servicing, or cleaning it.
Handle the blades with care as they are extremely sharp. Use caution when attaching, detaching, cleaning,
orstoring the blades.
1. Always clean the product immediately after each use.
2. Wash the cover, container bowl, and the blades in warm, soapy water; rinse and let dry.
3. Clean the base by wiping it with a damp cloth. To avoid product damage, do not immerse the base into
water or other liquids.
4. To avoid damage to the product, do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean
theproductparts.
5. Reassemble the product before placing it into storage. (Reference the “To Assemble” section.)
6. Store the product in a cool, dry place.

Limited TWO-YEAR Warranty
SENSIO Inc. hereby warrants that for a period of TWO YEARS from the date
of purchase, this product will be free from mechanical defects in material and
workmanship, and for 90 days in respect to non-mechanical parts. At its sole
discretion, SENSIO Inc. will either repair or replace the product found to be defective,
or issue a refund on the product during the warranty period.
The warranty is only valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial
retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of
purchase is required to obtain warranty validation. Retail stores selling this product
do not have the right to alter, modify, or in any way revise the terms and conditions of
the warranty.
EXCLUSIONS:
The warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from
any of the following: negligent use of the product, use of improper voltage or
current, improper routine maintenance, use contrary to the operating instructions,
disassembly, repair, or alteration by anyone other than qualied SENSIO Inc.
personnel. Also, the warranty does not cover Acts of God such as re, oods,
hurricanes, or tornadoes.
SENSIO Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused
by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent prohibited
by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular
purpose is limited in time to the duration of the warranty. Some states, provinces or
jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and therefore, the
above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. The warranty covers specic
legal rights which may vary by state, province and/or jurisdiction.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:
You must contact Customer Service at our toll-free number: 1-866-832-4843.
A Customer Service Representative will attempt to resolve warranty issues over
the phone. If the Customer Service Representative is unable to resolve the problem,
you will be provided with a case number and asked to return the product to SENSIO
Inc. Attach a tag to the product that includes: your name, address, daytime contact
telephone number, case number, and description of the problem. Also, include a
copy of the original sales receipt. Carefully package the tagged product with the sales
receipt, and send it (with shipping and insurance prepaid) to SENSIO Inc.’s address.
SENSIO Inc. shall bear no responsibility or liability for the returned product while in
transit to SENSIO Inc.’s Customer Service Center.

Notas Sobre el Enchufe

Antes de utilizar la mini picadora Kitchensmith por primera vez
1. Retire las piezas del producto del embalaje y desmonte. Para retirar el recipiente de la base,

Instrucciones de funcionamiento
AVISO: No procese carne cruda, queso, granos de café o trozos enteros de chocolate en este producto, ya que
podría dañarlo.
1. Corte los alimentos en trozos pequeños, según sea necesario.
NOTA: Las verduras duras, como las zanahorias crudas, pueden precisar que se corten o se trocen para
permitir un funcionamiento y movimiento suaves de las cuchillas.
2. Coloque los alimentos en el recipiente. No llene más allá de la capacidad máxima que es de 1 taza y
media.
3. Coloque y trabe suavemente la tapa en el recipiente (consulte la sección “Para montar”).
4. Enchufe el producto en un tomacorriente eléctrico estándar de 120 voltios CA.
5. Presione el botón Pulse (Pulsar) para comenzar a procesar los alimentos.
6. Para detener el procesamiento, suelte el botón Pulse (Pulsar).
7. Espere hasta que las cuchillas y el eje de metal se hayan detenido por completo antes de retirar la tapa
o el contenido.
8. Desenchufe el producto del tomacorriente eléctrico cuando no se use o se deje sin supervisión.

Garantía limitada de DOS AÑOS
