INSTALLATION
Batteries:
Open the battery cover by depressing the tab and pressing is
forward. Insert 2 x 1.5V - AAA size batteries (MICRO-LR03).
Preferably, use alkaline batteries. When inserting the batteries,
please observe the
polarity. Afterwards,
close the battery
cover.
Use a pen or paperclip
to press the reset
button. The clock is
now ready for use.

Clock:
After inserting the batteries, the clock starts synchronizing with
the DCF-77 time signal. The DCF-77 reception icon starts
ashingtoindicatethattheDCF-77signalisbeingreceived.

The clock automatically starts synchronizing with the DCF-77
signal at 3am.
If this fails, the clock will try again at 4am and 5am.
You may also manually synchronize the clock by pressing and
holding the button for 3 seconds. The reception icon starts
ashing.
The synchronizing process will take several minutes.
During summer time the icon appears. DST stands for
Daylight Saving Time.
To manually set the time:
If it’s not possible to receive the DCF-77-signal, you may set
the clock time manually. During the manual setup, several other
functions may be set.
Press and hold the “MODE” button for 3 seconds until the hours
oftheclockstartsashing.Usethe“+”and“-”buttonstoset
thevalues.Pressthe“MODE”buttontoconrmeachstepand
to go to the next setting.

Time zone: For countries with the same time as Germany,
set the time zone to “0”. For countries outside Germany’s time
zone, the time zone should be adjusted. When using the DCF-
77 time, Germany is considered as time zone “0”.

12/24 hours: Press the “-” button to switch between 12 hours
and 24 hours display format.
Remarks: When you don’t press any button for 15 seconds
during the settings, the screen automatically returns to the
normaldisplay.Brieypressthe“MODE”buttontodisplaythe
day.
Alarm clock and snooze settings:
This clock also provides wake-up functions. You may set 1
wake-up time. The alarm clock is activated when the alarm
clock icon
appears in the display, by sliding the sliders at the
sides upwards to the “ALARM ON” position. While the snooze
function is active, the snooze icon

keepsashing.Every
5 minutes an alarm signal will sound. While the alarm is active,
the alarm clock icon keepsashing.
Wake-up time setup:
Press and hold the “ALARM SET” button for 3 seconds to open
the alarm clock settings. The temperature display (if the slider
at the bottom right is set to “OFF”) is replaced by “ALARM
TIME”andthehoursofthealarmtimestartashing.
Use the “+” and “-” buttons to set the desired wake-up time.
Now press the “MODE”buttontoconrmyoursetting.The
minutesofthealarmtimestartashing.Usethe“+” and “-
buttons to set the minutes of the wake-up time and then press
the “MODE”buttontoconrmyoursetting.
The wake-up time(s) is/are now set.
To activate the wake-up time, slide the “ALARM ON” switch
on the right upwards. The alarm clock icon appears in the
display and the temperature display is replaced by the wake-up
time.

To stop the wake-up signal:
As soon as the wake-up time is reached, the clock will sound
analarmsignal.Fortherst10secondsthealarmsignalhasa
slow rhythm.
In between 10 and 20 seconds the rhythm of the alarm signal
increases. From 20 to 30 seconds the rhythm is even faster and
as of 30 seconds the alarm signal has the fastest rhythm. The
wake-up signal continues for up to 120 seconds.
Within those 120 seconds, press the “+” or “MODE” button to
switchothealarmclock.After24hours,accordingtotheset
wake-up time, the alarm signal will sound again.
You may also set the slider at the right to “OFF” to fully switch
othealarmclock.
Snooze function:
Press the snooze button “ ” on top of the clock to stop the
alarm signal and enable the snoozemode. The snooze icon

startsashing.
When the snooze mode is activated, the alarm signal will sound
again after 5 minutes. You may activate the snooze function up
to 7 times in a row.
To stop the alarm signal:
While the alarm signal sounds, set the slider(s) to “OFF” to
stop the alarm signal, and the wake-up time is replaced by the
temperature display.
The alarm clock is now disabled.

Thermometer setup:
The thermometer is displayed when the slider at the right is set
to “OFF”. You may set the thermometer to °C or °F. Press the
“°C/°F” button to switch the unit to the desired display.
If the thermometer value is out of the measurement range, the
display will show: LL.L (below the minimum temperature) or
HH.H (above the maximum temperature)
Background lighting:
Press “ ” on top of the clock to switch on the background
lighting.Thebackgroundlightingwillturnoafter5seconds.
TIPS & REMARKS
The clock loses all its information when the batteries are
removed.
Don’t expose the clock to direct sunlight, heat, cold, high
humidity or moist environments.
Only clean the clock with a moist cloth. Don’t use cleaning
agents.
This clock is only suitable for indoor use.
