IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND HEALTH & SAFETY
• Do not roll up the light strip during installation, as it may melt.
• Do not cover the light strip as this may cause it to overheat and melt.
• Do not immerse the light strip in water, or use it near water or other liquids.
• Only use the provided power adapter, controller or dimmer, as the power of the light
strip cannot be higher than the maximum power of the adapter, controller or dimmer.
• Only use the provided hanger or clip to protect the light strip. Do not use staplers, nails
or other fixings on this product or its wires, as they may damage the insulation.
• Risk of fire - do not replace the plug, the fuse in the plug should not be removed.
Discard the product if the plug is damaged.
• Please be aware of static during the installation and use of the product.
• Do not touch the product with sharp tools.
• Ensure that the installation site is dust-free, clean, and smooth, otherwise the product
will not adhere to the surface.
• Avoid bending the product at the point of any LEDs.

Remove the protective cover from the end of the LED Light Strip, then connect it to the
WiFi Controller making sure to line up the white and red arrow as shown above. Connect
the WiFi Controller to the power adapter, don’t connect to the mains power during
installation.

UPDATING YOUR FIRE
Important
If your fire has an Update warning as shown above, it is important that the fire is fully
updated in-order for the smart lighting to work. Select the update icon to update the fire,
do not turn off the fire until it has completed updating, this can take up to 10 minutes.
Once completed you can continue with the installation.

Clean the surface before applying the LED
strip.
Peel off the adhesive backing as you fix the
LED strip to the surface.
Press the strip onto the surface firmly. Reinforce the LED strip with the provided
screws and clips.
If you need stronger adhesion to your
surface, you can use the foam stickers
provided.
Press firmly on the LED strip.
The power adapter can now be plugged into the mains electricity and powered on.

CONNECTING THE LEDs TO THE APP
Once the LED strip is plugged into the
mains and turned on. Go to the E-Smart
app, then select Settings on your Home
Page.
In Settings go to Other Options.
Click on Search Mood Light, and wait for
the app to connect to the LED strip. This
will take approximately 1 minute.
Once connected, the mood light option will
show on your Home Page, as above.

• The LED strip can be turned off and on by selecting the light bulb button.
• The brightness of the LEDs can be adjusted with the brightness slider, slide it left to
dim the lights, and right to increase the brightness.
• The colour of the LEDs can be chosen using the colour selector, or the colour picker on
the bottom right.
