The ACP ADD-FMCP-LX-2SC is a PoE-enabled media converter designed to connect 10/100Base-TX twisted pair networks to 100Base-FX fiber optic networks. It supports distances of up to 20km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using a 1310nm wavelength.

The media converter is fully compliant with the IEEE802.3af standard, providing up to 25W of power to connected devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points. It features a single RJ-45 port for the twisted pair connection and two SC ports for the fiber optic connections.

10/100M FX-BX POE is a 10/100Base-TX to 100Base-FX media converter with
Power Over Ethernet (POE), which allows two types of network segment to be
connected easily. Complete with IEEE802.3af standard, the AC powered PoE
media converter is a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) which combines data
transferred over a fiber optic link with 48V power supply, providing power to
IEEE802.3af powered device (PD) over CAT5 UTP cable (cable length up to
100meters / 330feets). The converter includes a single port PSE controller,
which offers PD signature sensing and power monitoring features. Other
features include over-current protection, LFP function. The LFP (Link Fault
Pass-through) allows the media converter to monitor both the fiber and copper
RX port for loss of signal. In case of a loss of RX signal on one media port, the
converter will automatically disable the TX signal to the other media port, thus
passing through the link fault.
