Add-On Computer Peripherals (ACP) ADD-FMC-MMSM-2SC is a media converter that allows you to connect two different types of fiber optic cables. It has one 100Base-FX (50/125 µm, 62.5/125 µm MMF) port and one 100Base-FX (9/125 µm SMF) port. This allows you to connect a multimode fiber cable to a single-mode fiber cable, or vice versa. The converter supports distances of up to 2km on multimode fiber and 20km on single-mode fiber.
