2 Muting-Arme montieren
Vorgehensweise
1.
Die vormontierten Muting-Arme auspacken.
2. Die Schutzkappen am Anschluss Muting-Signal A bzw. Muting-Signal B der Aktiv-
Einheit entfernen.
3. Die Muting-Arm-Halterung mit den daran befestigten Muting-Armen jeweils an die
Gehäuserückseite von Aktiv- und Passiv-Einheit anlegen. Das SICK-Logo auf der
Halterung zeigt dabei nach oben. (

Um die Muting-Sensoren bzw. Reflektoren auf Höhe des untersten Lichtstrahls
zu montieren, die eingezeichnete Hilfslinie auf der linken Seite des Geräts zur
Ausrichtung nutzen. (

Die Halterung mit einem Anzugsdrehmoment von 4,5 Nm ± 0,5 Nm fixieren. (
C )
6.
Die Anschlussleitungen der Muting-Sensoren in der Muting-Arm-Halterung ein‐
klemmen. Dabei beide Anschlussleitungen eines Muting-Sensor-Paars gemeinsam
fixieren.
Die Anschlussleitungen zuerst am unteren Haken der Muting-Arm-Halterung und
dann am oberen Haken der Muting-Arm-Halterung einklemmen. (

7. Die Anschlussleitungen über die Muting-Arme legen. ( E )
8.
Abschließend die Anschlussleitungen am Anschluss Muting-Signal A bzw. Muting-
Signal B der Aktiv-Einheit anschließen. (

1 About this document
This document applies to the multiple light beam safety device deTem4 LT Muting A/P.
2 Mounting the muting arms
Approach
1.
Unpack the pre-mounted muting arms.
2. Remove the protective caps on the muting signal A and muting signal B connec‐
tions of the active unit.
3. Position the muting arm brackets with attached muting arms at the back of the
respective housings of the active and passive units. The SICK logo on the bracket
must face up. (

4.
To mount the muting sensors or reflectors at the height of the lowest light beam,
use the guide line drawn on the left side of the device as an orientation aid. (

5.
Secure the bracket using a tightening torque of 4.5 Nm ± 0.5 Nm. (
C )
6.
Clamp the connecting cables of the muting sensors inside the muting arm bracket.
Secure both connecting cables of a muting sensor pair together when doing so.
Clamp the connecting cables first at the lower hook of the muting arm bracket and
then at the upper hook of the muting arm bracket. (

7. Lay the connecting cables over the muting arms. ( E )
8.
Now connect the connecting cables to the muting signal A and muting signal B
connections of the active unit. (
