Sherlock® Extension Poles Maintenance Kit

Kit Includes:

•1 Threaded Tip

•1 Lever

•1 Pin

•2 Screws

•3 Springs

Tools Needed:

•Phillips Screwdriver or Drill

•Flat Screwdriver

•Hammer

•Small Punch

Directions:

STEP 1 Use a phillips screwdriver (or a drill with a phillips-head bit) to remove the 2

screws attaching the threaded tip to the inner pole.

STEP 2 Lightly tap the threaded tip with a flat screwdriver and pull the original threaded

tip to remove it from the inner pole.

STEP 3 Place the replacement threaded tip in the inner pole. Lightly tap with a hammer,

if needed, to align the screw holes.

STEP 4 Use the new phillips screws to secure the replacement tip to the pole.

STEP 5 Use a hammer and a small punch to gently push the pin from the lever

mechanism.

STEP 6 Place the new lever into position.

STEP 7 Insert the replacement pin and lightly tap it into place with a hammer.

STEP 8 Use a flat screwdriver to push a new spring into place.
