Description
The AX-1 spacer is a complementary product within Roger offer. We recommend to use it in installation of
Roger access control devices on rough (porous) surfaces, such as building facades. The spacer is made of
galvanized metal sheet. AX-1 can be also used as electromagnetic screen, which prevents cross interferences
of controllers/readers on the opposite sides of wall. Installation of AX-1 may result in reduction of reading
distance by approx. 20%, which in many installations is fully acceptable by customer.
The view and dimensions of AX-1 are presented in fig. 1.
Dimensions of AX-1 are matched to following access control devices:

· PRT12LT/PRT12LT-BK
· PRT12EM/PRT12EM-BK
· PRT12MF/PRT12MF-BK
Regarding mentioned above devices, the AX-1 metal spacer can be used with both types of available enclosure
bases (standard and extended ones).

Installation guidelines
AX-1 metal spacer should be mounted directly on installation surface (e.g. wall) and adequate access control
device should be installed on the spacer. AX-1 includes installation holes for screws as well as opening for
connection cable.
