INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
INSTALLING THE DEVICE
To install the absorber device, follow these instructions (make sure to read all the section before installing).
The product comes with a plastic bag containing:
• 3 aluminium bags with the bags of absorbent material inside.
• 1 timer, which indicates the 6 months' life of the device, to be activated on installation/replacing the bags.
Inserting bags:
• OPEN THE ALUMINIUM BAGS (DO NOT USE CUTTING TOOLS) AND REMOVE THE BAGS OF
ABSORBENT MATERIAL.
• Put the bags inside the container, as indicated in
fig. 1

Press inside the side openings (

) and slide the cover up (

Remove the cover (

).
C.
Put the bags inside the container (making sure the material inside is evenly distributed).

Refit the cover (

E.
Slide the cover down until hooked (

).
• Insert the container inside the product.
• Start the product (see the section “Installation" in the product Instructions for use).

Installation des Timers:
• Aktivieren Sie den Timer, indem Sie auf die Kapsel auf der Oberseite (
Abb. 2
) drücken.
• Stecken Sie den Timer in die vorgesehene Aufnahme (
Abb. 3
).
Nach der Aktivierung den Timer nie aus dem laufenden Gerät nehmen; nur so ist die korrekte Anzeige der
abgelaufenen Zeit gewährleistet.
Die Anzeige der restlichen Wirkungsdauer kann sich je nach der Temperatur des Gerätes, in dem sich der Timer
befindet, ändern: die korrekte Anzeige der Wirkungsdauer von 6 Monaten bezieht sich auf -18 °C (Temperatur im
Inneren des Gefrierschranks).
Da sich bei normalem Gerätegebrauch die Temperatur im Gefrierschrank ändert, ist bei der Angabe der
abgelaufenen Zeit von 6 Monaten eine Variation von +/- 20 Tagen zu berücksichtigen.

GEBRAUCH DER VORRICHTUNG
Die Lebensmittel können auf jeder Ablage des Gerätes oder in den mitgelieferten Körben gelagert werden; achten
Sie jedoch darauf, nicht die Schlitze des Feuchteabsorbers zu verdecken.
Der Feuchteabsorber verhindert die Reifbildung auf den Wänden des Gerätes und den eingelagerten Lebensmitteln;
in folgenden Fällen kann sich jedoch im Gefrierraum Reif absetzen:
• Nach der ersten Inbetriebnahme des Produktes.
• Nach dem Einlagern warmer einzufrierender oder großer Mengen bereits eingefrorener Lebensmittel.
• Nach langem und häufigem Öffnen der Tür.
• Bei Verwendung des Gerätes in sehr warmer und feuchter Umgebung.
Diese Erscheinung ist jedoch keine Störung des Gerätes und beeinträchtigt in keiner Weise die
Konservierung der Lebensmittel, die gewährleistet ist.
Die Vorrichtung absorbiert den abgesetzten Reif im Laufe der Zeit wieder.

INSTALLATION DER VORRICHTUNG
Halten Sie sich bei der Installation des Feuchteabsorbers genau an die folgenden Anleitungen (lesen Sie vor dem
Einbau vollständig den gesamten Abschnitt).
Mit dem Produkt erhalten Sie eine Kunststofftasche mit:
• 3 Aluminiumbeuteln, die die Beutel mit dem Absorptionsmittel enthalten.
• 1 Timer, der nach der Installation oder dem Austausch der Beutel aktiviert werden muss und die Wirkungsdauer von 6
Monaten des Absorbers anzeigt.
Einsetzen der Beutel:
• DIE ALU-BEUTEL ÖFFNEN (KEINE SCHARFEN WERKZEUGE DAZU BENUTZEN) UND DIE BEUTEL
MIT DEM ABSORPTIONSMITTEL ENTNEHMEN.
• Die Beutel entsprechend den Anweisungen in

in den Behälter legen:

Auf das Innere der seitlichen Schlitze (

) drücken und den Deckel nach oben schieben (

Den Deckel abnehmen (

).
C.
Die Beutel ins Innere des Behälters legen (dabei darauf achten, dass das Material gleichmäßig im Inneren verteilt
ist).
D.
Den Deckel wieder auflegen (

).
E.
Den Deckel nach unten schieben, bis er einrastet (

).
• Den Behälter in das Gerät legen.
• Das Gerät in Betrieb setzen (siehe Abschnitt “Installation" in den Gebrauchsanweisungen des Produktes).

Timer installation:
• Activate the timer by pressing the cap on the top part (
fig. 2
).
• Insert it in the special seat (
fig. 3
).
Once activated, make sure to keep the timer constantly inside the product in operation, to guarantee a correct
indication of the time elapsed.
Indication of the time elapsed can vary according to the temperature: correct indication of the 6 months refers to
-18 °C (the temperature inside the freezer).
Considering that in normal use of the product the temperature inside can vary, the accuracy of the indication of time
elapsed is 6 months +/- 20 days.

USE
Food can be arranged anywhere in the product or in the baskets provided, making sure not to obstruct the
openings on the absorber device.
The absorber device prevents frost forming on the walls of the product and on the food contained in it; however,
frost may form in the following cases:
• After the product is switched on the first time.
• As a result of the introduction of hot food for freezing or considerable quantities of already-frozen food.
• As a result of prolonged and frequent opening of the door.
• If the product is used in a particularly hot or humid place.
This phenomenon does not indicate malfunctioning of the product, in particular regarding correct
preservation of the food, which is in any case guaranteed.
The device will eventually reabsorb the frost formed.

PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL
RECOMMENDATIONS
• Do not swallow the material contained in the bags.
• The humidity absorber device does not alter the
preservation of food. Also, the absorbent material
contained in the bags is not toxic and does not produce
odours or harmful substances.
• The device is not intended for use by young children or
the infirm without supervision.
• Operation of the absorber device is guaranteed only
when original bags are used.
• Only use the device and absorbent material for their
intended purpose.
• Do not use devices or absorbent materials different
from those supplied in the product.
• The depleted bags must be disposed of as non-organic
waste and not reused in any way.
• In case of spilling of material from the bags, remove the
device from the freezer and collect the spilled material.
Replace the damaged bag of absorber material with a
new one. Put the device back inside the freezer to
restore the absorption of humidity.
• Correct use of the device and replacing the absorbent
material will guarantee prolonged frost protection,
thus reducing the need to defrost. In any case, it is
advisable to periodically check the food expiry dates,
rearrange the food and carry out general cleaning of
the product compartment.
REPLACING ABSORBER MATERIAL
When replacing the bags:
The estimated life of the humidity absorber is approx. 6 months.
This time refers to standard use of the product, and can therefore vary according to:
• Room conditions (temperature and humidity).
• Amount of food normally present in the product.
• Frequency of door opening.
• Freezing frequency.
This, however, does not modify the instructions for correct use and operation of the freezer and the absorber
device.
Make sure to promptly replace the depleted bags in order to prevent excessive build-up of frost.
Operations for replacing the bags:
NB:
The product does not have to be switched off during the following operations.
1. Remove the absorber device from the freezer and close the product.
2. Open the bag-holder container and remove the used bags (see the section “Installing the device”).
3. Replace the used bags with new ones just taken from the protective covering.
4. Refit the absorber device inside the product and close the same.

BESCHREIBUNG DES FEUCHTEABSORBERS
Dieser Gefrierschrank ist mit "No-Frost-Gefriertechnik" ausgestattet, die das Abtauen des Gerätes überflüssig
macht.
Die Vorrichtung zur Feuchtigkeitsaufnahme verhindert Reifbildung, hält die Gerätewände eisfrei und optimiert
somit den Gerätebetrieb.
Die Funktionsweise der Vorrichtung hängt vorwiegend von den Umgebungsbedingungen (Feuchtigkeit und
Temperatur) des Raums ab, in dem das Gerät aufgestellt ist.
Bei Annahme, dass das Gerät
durchschnittlich
einmal am Tag geöffnet wird, ist der optimale Betrieb
gewährleistet, wenn die Feuchtigkeit des Raums, in dem sich das Produkt befindet, folgende Werte nicht
überschreitet:
bei 20 °C max. relative Luftfeuchtigkeit: 80%
bei 25 °C max. relative Luftfeuchtigkeit: 65%
bei 32 °C max. relative Luftfeuchtigkeit: 50%
