EasyCoder F4 Printhead Spring
Some applications require that the EasyCoder F4 is installed in
a vertical or semivertical position, that is, with the front pointing
down. In such cases, the printer should be fi tted with a rotating
media hub rather than a media supply post.
To prevent the printhead from sliding forward when raised, a
spring that holds the printhead bracket to the headlift shaft can be
installed as an option:
Wrap the spring around the headlift shaft
Insert the lower leg of the spring into the lower hole in the side
of the printhead bracket.
Connect the upper leg of the spring to the upper hole in the
printhead bracket.
Check that the printhead can be raised and lowered without any
obstructions.
Important!
Remember to remove the spring before printhead replacement
and to put it back afterwards.
