3. FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
Automatic water supply.
The brewer is equipped with a separate hot water tap.
Brewing takes place in a detachable serving station.
Brewing is done using paper lters.
Brew time = 5 - 6 mins.
4. START-UP
Start the machine by pressing the main switch (A) located at the rear of the machine.
A light will start ashing, indicating that the brewer is lling and heating water.

Congratulations on choosing a tea brewer.
Tea Cater is equipped with full and half brew functions, and has
a separate hot water outlet.
Tea Cater is supplied with a brew unit, serving station, lter
holder, 25 disposable lters and a connection tube.
Crem International AB is certied in accordance with ISO

lowest possible environmental impact.

7. INSTALLATION AND START-UP – SERVICE Tea Cater
7.1.
Place the machine on a at surface
that is impermeable to water.
7.3. Electrical connection
NB Connect the plug to a separate earthed wall socket
(230 V 10 amp).
7.2. Connect to your cold water feed using the connection
tube supplied.
It is recommended that you connect the tube to a shut-off tap.
For the best results, pressure should be between 14.5
and 72.5 psi (1 - 5 bar).
It is the responsibility of the end customer/user to ensure
that the water feed is compliant with the manufacturers
instructions.
In hard water areas, it is recommended that a lime lter is
tted to the water feed before the machine is installed.

8.1. Starting the machine
Start the brewer using the main power switch located at the rear of the
machine.
The machine will start lling with water.
Place a lter in the lter holder.
8.3. Filter placement.
Always use Crem International AB recommended lters
Filter type 110mm disposable lter. Item no. for ordering 110110
8.2. The machine starts heating water.
While machine is heating the water, the display will ash.
Once the water has reached the correct
temperature, the display will show chosen temperature (85 - 96ºC )
The machine is now ready for use.

8.5. LOAD SERVING STATION
AND FILTER HOLDER
1. Load the lter holder (A).
2. Lift the upper lid B on the serving station and then
load the serving station C.
8.4. BREWING:
Push button + to increase or - button to decrease temperature.
Rekommendations, brewing tea.
Temperature:
GREEN TEA 85 - 88ºC
BLACK TEA 95 - 96ºC
WOOLONG TEA 92 - 94ºC
JASMIN TEA 85 - 88ºC
Recommended portion of tea;
FULL brew = 50 gr.
HALF brew = 25gr.
Make sure that the tea is evenly spread.

8.6. START BREWING
1. Start brewing by pressing brewing button
1/1 for a 2.5 litre brew.
1/1 Full brew 2.5

1/2 Half brew 1.25

2. When brewing is complete, the display will show a steady light.
3. STOP / PAUSE button
- Press button once to pause the machine.
- Press button twice to stop brewing.
To complete brewing, press either 1/2 or 1/1

8.7. To keep the aroma and temperature:
Put the lid (A) back on the serving station after brewing.

Tips for keeping tea hot.
Pre-heating the serving station.
Fill the serving station with hot water drawn from the tap and leave to stand for about
1 hour. Pour out the water. Then brew some tea.
8.8. Remove the serving station and lter holder. Empty the lter and and sump
from the lter holder and clean.
The brewer is now ready for the next brew.
Some tips for achieving the best quality
1. Do not change the recommended amount of tea.
2. Do not mix freshly brewed tea with old tea.
3. Always rinse the serving station before the next brew.

Before each brew:
Rinse the serving station with clean tap water.
Every day
Rinse serving station and lter holder with hot water.
When cleaning the outside of the machine, use a soft rag
and a non-abrasive liquid detergent.
NB
The machine must not be covered with or immersed in water.

Clean and dry these surfaces!

Clean the bottom plate (A).
Clean the spray nozzle (B) and the surrounding area.

CLEANING PROCEDURE FOR 2.5 LITRE SERVING STATION
Fill the serving station with hot water by running a brew cycle without tea and lter.
Put 1 tablespoon of cleaning powder in the serving station and wait at least 15 minutes.
Draw off 2/3 of the cleaning solution.
Use the cleaning brush to remove any detergent residues.
IMPORTANT! Rinse the interior of the serving station several times with clean water.

Remove the level tube and clean it every week
using the cleaning brush.
Remove the big lid and clean the mixer tube.

When cleaning the exterior of the machine:
Use a soft rag and non-abrasive liquid detergent.
10. Important! Tea Cater
Important
Do not make any alterations to the machine. Doing so may result in personal injury and cause the
machine to break down.
The machine should stand on a at surface so that it will function properly.
The machine should be placed on a non-permeable surface so that any
leakage is easily noticeable.
Make sure there are no kinks in the connection tube when machine is moved into position.
All tube connections should be checked on a regular basis.
Make sure that no leakage has occurred in connection with installation.
With a water connection, there is always a danger of leakage, regardless of
any safety equipment used.
Do not leave the machine unattended while in use. Close the water tap when the
machine is not in use.
The machine must be disconnected from mains electricity supply before carrying out
any maintenance.
Turn off the operation switch.
All installation work must be carried out by qualied personnel.

ADJUSTING WATER QUANTITY
1. Push the full brew and Stop/Pause buttons
simultaneously and hold for 5 seconds, until
you hear 3 beeps.
The display shows the current setting.
2. Adjust using the buttons:
full brew = (increase outlet valve activity)
and
half brew = (decrease outlet valve activity)
3. Conrm the new settings by pressing the
Stop/Pause button.

Adjusting quantity of water.
This is to improve the water ow into lter holder.
The ow of PDS valve is set to 0.95 litre /minute. Depending on the coarseness and
amount of coffee that’s used when brewing, the ow might need adjustments to prevent
overow in the lter holder.

This should be 0,95L/minute.
Adjust PDS valve if necessary. See g.1.

15. Use and precautionary measures Tea Cater
This tea brewer is an appliance for delivering hot water and preparation of tea . Its durable, non-
toxic components are easily accessible for cleaning and maintenance.
The appliance must not be used by children or unauthorised people.
Users must comply with applicable safety regulations of the country in which the machine is
installed and exercise sound common sense. Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out on a
regular basis.
The installer, user or maintenance technician must inform the manufacturer of any defects or
damage that may jeopardise the machine’s original safety.
- The installer must check to ensure that the ambient temperature is correct so as to guarantee
safety and hygiene for both operators and users.
- Responsibility for the operation of commercial components installed in the machine rests with
the relevant manufacturer.
- Responsibility for authorised operating personnel lies with the customer.
Do not expose the machine to the external stresses (sun, rain, etc. ).
Long periods of non-use at temperatures below 0ºC may cause the water tank and its tubing to
degrade and crack. Therefore, it is recommended that the machine is fully drained after use.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualied electrician.
(See service manual).
The machine contains no user serviceable parts. Do not pull the power cord to unplug the machine
from the mains.
Do not clean the interior of the machine with the power on or with the machine still plugged into the
mains.
Do not use a water jet when cleaning the machine.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for injury resulting from use of the machine in an
inappropriate, incorrect or foolish manner.
