Note on browsing PDF documents using the
Reader™
Your Reader provides the ability to display most text based PDF
documents in six text sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL. By default,
documents are displayed in their original layout when viewed in
S size.
By pressing and tapping a text size icon, the text in the viewed
document can be resized and reflowed to improve readability.
Due to the complex nature of PDF documents, in certain
situations when viewing the resized text, only text will appear as
some tables and graphics may be reformatted and altered during
the reflow process.
Also, in cases where PDF documents are created using image
data only, there is in fact, no text to reflow or resize.
In these cases, if retaining the original layout of your PDF
document is required, it is recommended to view in S size.
While viewing in S size, one option to improve readability is to
switch the screen orientation from vertical to horizontal. To switch
the screen orientation, press the OPTIONS button, then tap
[Orientation].
Another option is to view the page while zoomed in. To zoom in a
page, Press and tap [ Zoom In].
Note on viewing PDF files in XS, M, L, XL or
XXL size
When you view PDF files in XS, M, L, XL, or XXL size, some
functions such as highlighting, searching, or a temporary word
selection, may not work correctly.

Remarque sur la consultation des documents
PDF à l’aide du Reader™
Votre Reader vous permet d’afficher la plupart des documents
texte PDF dans six tailles de police différentes : Très Petite (XS),
Petite (S), Moyenne (M), Grande (L), Très Grande (XL) et Extra
Grande (XXL). Par défaut, tous les documents apparaissent
dans leur mise en page d’origine lorsqu’ils sont affichés en
Petite (S) taille.
En appuyant sur pour redimensionner, et en tapant sur une
icône de taille, la taille de police du document visualisé peut être
redimensionnée et le texte repositionné afin d’améliorer la
lisibilité.
En raison de la nature complexe des documents PDF, il est
possible que seul le texte s’affiche lors de la visualisation de vos
documents dans une taille de police redimensionnée. Les
tableaux et les graphiques risquent en effet d’être reformatés et
modifiés au cours du processus de repositionnement.
Par ailleurs, lorsque les documents PDF sont créés à l’aide de
données d’image uniquement, il n’y a en fait aucun texte à
repositionner ou à redimensionner.
Dans ces cas, s’il est absolument nécessaire de conserver la
mise en page originale de votre document PDF, nous vous
recommandons de visualiser le document dans une police de
Petite (S) taille.
PRS-350/PRS-650
Lorsque vous sélectionnez une Petite (S) taille, vous pouvez
améliorer la lisibilité en permutant l’orientation de l’écran, du
sens vertical au sens horizontal. Pour modifier l’orientation de
l’écran, appuyez sur le bouton OPTIONS, puis tapez sur
[Orientation].
Une autre possibilité consiste à visualiser la page lorsqu’un
zoom avant est effectué sur celle-ci. Pour effectuer un zoom
avant sur une page, appuyez sur et tapez sur [ Zoom avant].

Mit dem Reader können Sie die meisten textbasierten PDF-
Dokumente in sechs Schriftgrößen anzeigen: XS, S, M, L, XL

Dokuments beibehalten werden muss, empfiehlt sich die
Anzeige in Größe S.
Bei der Anzeige in Größe S ist eine Alternative zur Verbesserung
der Lesbarkeit das Wechseln von der vertikalen zur horizontalen
Bildschirmausrichtung. Drücken Sie zum Wechseln der
Bildschirmausrichtung die Taste OPTIONS und tippen Sie dann
auf [Ausrichtung].
Eine weitere Möglichkeit besteht in der vergrößerten Anzeige
der Seite. Drücken Sie zum Vergrößern einer Seite und tippen
Sie auf [ Vergrößern].
