SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
For your safety and correct oper-
ation of the appliance, read this
manual carefully before installa-
tion and use. Always keep these
instructions with the appliance
even if you move or sell it. Users
must fully know the operation
and safety features of the appli-
ance.
1.1 Safety during operation
Only a qualified person must install this
appliance.
Do not let the electricity bounds touch
the appliance or hot cookware, when
you connect the appliance to the near
sockets.
Do not let the electricity bounds tan-
gle.
Clean the appliance with a moist soft
cloth. Only use neutral detergents. Do
not use abrasive products, abrasive
cleaning pads, solvents or metal ob-
jects. Do not use water spray and
steam to clean the appliance.
Only adults can use this appliance.
Children must get supervision to make
sure that they do not play with the ap-
pliance.
Fire danger! Overheated fats and oils
can ignite very quickly.
If there is a damage in the appliance
or the front panel is removed, discon-
nect power supply to prevent electric
shock.
Correct use
Only use the appliance for operating the
hob.

3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
To use the appliance, push the control
knob. The control knob comes out.
To switch on and increase the heat set-
ting turn the knob clockwise. To de-
crease the heat setting turn the knob
counter-clockwise. To switch off turn the
knob to the 0.

5. CARE AND CLEANING
Clean the front of the appliance with a
soft cloth and hot water.
Do not use scouring agents and abra-
sive sponges.
6. WHAT TO DO IF…

The appliance does not
operate.
Examine the fuse in the electrical system of the
house in the fuse box. If the fuses blow time after
time, speak to an authorized electrician.
If you tried the above solutions and can-
not repair the problem, speak to your
dealer or the Customer Care Depart-
ment. Give the data from the rating
plate.
If you operated the appliance incorrect-
ly, the servicing by a customer service
technician or dealer will not be free of
charge, even during the warranty period.
The instructions about the customer
service and conditions of guarantee are
at the end of this manual or in the guar-
antee booklet.

Cantonal Fire Insurance shall be
strictly adhered to.
7.2 Safety instructions
WARNING!
You must read these!
Fully obey the laws, ordinances,
directives and standards in force
in the country where you use the
appliance (safety regulations, re-
cycling regulations, electrical
safety rules etc.)!
Only a qualified electrician must
install the appliance!
WARNING!
Risk of injury from electrical cur-
rent.
The combination appliance is live.
Observe electrical safety rules.
Rated voltage of the combined appli-
ances must match.
Fit plug and socket connections to-
gether properly.
Install correctly to give anti-shock pro-
tection.
Loose and incorrect plug and socket
connections can make the terminal
become too hot.
A qualified electrician must install the
clamping connections correctly.
WARNING!
When you connect the appliance
to an induction hob you have to
install the two ferrite cores sup-
plied with the appliance. You can
find the ferrite cores in a plastic
bag together with the installation
instruction.

7.3 Electrical connection
Use a power cable of H05VV-F or higher.
Connect the appliance to a socket sup-
ply line. If there is no socket supply line,
the electrical installation must have an
isolation device which lets you discon-
nect the appliance from the power sup-
ply. The isolation device must have a
contact opening width of minimum 3
mm (in reference to NIN SEV 1000). The
customer must have a socket for the
electrical connection that is accessible
and outside the coordination room. The
length of the connection cable must be
approximately 120 cm with lines connec-
ted directly to the power supply.
