Theownerand/oroperatorshallstudytheproductinstructionsandretainthemforfuturereference.

Operation

Theownerand/oroperatorshallhaveanunderstandingoftheproduct,itsoperatingcharacteristics,

andsafetyoperatinginstructionsbeforeoperatingthePALD(PortableAutomotiveLiftingDevice).

Safetyinformationshallbeemphasizedandunderstood.IftheoperatorisnotfluentinEnglish,the

productandsafetyinstructionsshallbereadto

anddiscussedwiththeoperatorintheoperator's

nativelanguagebythepurchaser/ownerorhisdesignee,makingsurethattheoperatorcomprehends

theircontents.

Maintenance

ThePALDshallbemaintainedinaccordancewiththeproductinstruction.

1.Whenjackisnotinuse,liftingarmshouldbeinfulldownposition.

2.Alwayskeepjackcleanandkeepthescrewandbearingswelllubricated.

3.Keepmovingpartsclean;lubricatemovingpartsevery3months.

Inspection

(a)VisualinspectionshallbemadebeforeeachuseofthePALDbycheckingforabnormalconditions,

suchascrackedwelds,leaks,anddamaged,loose,ormissingparts.

(b)Otherinspectionsshallbemadeperproductoperatinginstructions.

(c)EachPALDshallbeinspectedimmediatelyifthedeviceisbelievedto

havebeensubjectedtoan

abnormalloadorshock.Itisrecommendedthatthisinspectionbemadebyamanufacturer'sor

supplier'sauthorizedrepairfacility.

(d)Ownersand/oroperatorsshouldbeawarethatrepairofthisequipmentmayrequirespecialized

knowledgeandfacilities.Itisrecommendedthatanannualinspection

ofthePALDbemadebya

manufacturer'sorsupplier'sauthorizedrepairfacilityandthatanydefectiveparts,decals,orsafety

labelsorsignsbereplacedwithmanufacturersorsupplier'sspecifiedparts.Alistofauthorizedrepair

facilitiesisavailablefromthemanufacturerorsupplier.

DamagedEquipment

AnyPALDthatappearstobedamagedinanyway,isfoundtobewornoroperatesabnormallySHALL

BEREMOVEDFROMSERVICEUNTILREPAIRED.Itisrecommendedthatnecessaryrepairsbemadeby

amanufacturer'sorsupplier'sauthorizedrepairfacilityifrepairsarepermittedbythemanufactureror

supplier.

Alterations

Becauseofpotentialhazardsassociatedwiththistypeofequipment,noalterationsshallbemadeto

theproduct.

AttachmentsandAdaptors

Onlyattachmentsand/oradaptorssuppliedbythemanufacturershallbeused.



(d)Centerloadonliftplatform.

(f)Immediatelyafterliftingload,ensureliftmechanical

loadholdingmeansisengaged.

(g)Beforemoving,lowertheloadtothelowestpossiblepoint.

(h)Secureloadwithappropriaterestraintdevice.

(i)Failuretoheedthesemarkingsmayresultinpersonalinjuryand/orpropertydamage.



SafetyMessages

(a)Useofthisproductislimitedtolifting,lowering,transportingandstoringintheloweredposition,loadsconsisting

ofasinglemotorvehiclewhoseliftpointsarecompatiblewiththeliftplatform.Incompatibilityisevidentwhenthe

loadedvehiclewobbles,appearsunstable,and/ordoesnotsecurelyengagetheliftplatform.



(b)Restraininganincompatibleloadwillnotmaketheloadsecureandmaycauseunexpectedlossofload.

(c)Neverworkon,aroundorunderaloadthatisnotsecuredandstable.

(d)Keepoperator’sandbystander’shead,handsandfeetawayfromliftarmswhenraisingandlowering.

(e)Noalterationsshallbemadetothisproduct.

(f)Onlyattachments,restraints,oradapterssuppliedbythemanufacturershallbeused.



IMPORTANT

DONOTOVERLOADJACKBEYONDITSRATEDCAPACITY.NEVERMOVETHEJACKWHILEITISSUPPORTINGLOAD.

Sometimesduringshipmentandhandling,airmaybecometrappedinthehydraulicsystemcausingpoorornolifting.



ASSEMBLYINSTRUCTIONS

1.Placehydraulicram(#H)ontothebase(#A)using(2)M8X25hexbolt(#4),(2)springwasher(#2),(2)washer

(#1),andusingboltM5X25(#8)tofixramtoconnectingrod(#D)thentighten.

2.Insertfootpedal(#I)tothe

hydraulicram(#H),andsecureusingM8X30bolt(#3).

3.Placesafetylockoperationrod(#L)inserttolink(#B)using(2)washer(#6),(2)lockingpin(#7)andlockingrod(#5).

4.Inserthandle(#E)toconnectingrod(#D)usingboltM8X30(#3).

5.Ensure

thatallconnectionsaretightened

OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS

Seedrawingonpage3forlocationofparts.

TORAISETHELOAD

1.Placejackonahardlevelsurface.

2.Toavoiditemfromslippingduringtheraisingoperation.ALWAYSfirstdeterminethecenteroftheweightload.

3.PlacethejackundertheitemsothattheLift

Saddleispositionedunderthecenteroftheweightload.

4.Pumpthefootpedaluntiltheliftsaddlecomesincontactwiththeloadtobelifted;proceedtolockwheelcasters.

Alwayschecktobesurethatthesaddleandtheloadarepositionedcorrectlybeforeraisingthe

jack.

5.UseFootPedaltoraiseload;BESUREthatSafetyLockissecuredinoneofthreestatedlockpositionsoncedesired

heightisreached.

6.Applytie‐downstraps(Seepage5,SecuringtheLoad)onceloadhasbeenraisedtodesiredheight.Thoroughly

tightenstraps.

7.Stabilize

loadedjackonahardsurfacefor maximumbalancebyadjustinglockingscrews.



TOLOWERTHELOAD

1.RaisethejackslightlyandpullbackontheOperationRod,releasingtheSafetyLock.

2.FastentheOperationRodtotheconnectingrodifyouareloweringtheloadcompletely.

PresstheReleaseValveverygentlytolowertheSaddleanditsload.



CAUTION:TieDownStrapswillbecomelooseandloadwillbereleaseduponloweringtheload.



4.Removethetiedownstrapsaftertheloadissecured.

SECURINGTHELOAD‐1‐in.x15‐ft.RatchetTieDownStraps



1.Connectstraphookstoloop(P)andplacestrapoverload.

2.WiththestrapHandle(A)intheclosedposition,takelongstrapendandslipitthroughtheinsertslotinSpindle(B).

Pullstrapbackoverspindle.

3.Tightenthestrapbyratchetingthehandleback

andforthuntiltheloadissecure.Ifn ecessary,takeuptheexcess

slackbyhanduntilthestrapistight.



CAUTION:

Toavoiddamagetotheload,DONOTovertighten.



4. To lock ratchet, ALWAYS leave the handle in the closed position.

RELEASING THE LOAD-1-in. x 15-ft. Ratchet Tie Down Straps

Working limited: 250Lbs

Max load capacity: 800Lbs

1. Hold the ratchet in one hand and with the other hand pull back on Release Latch (C) that is located on

Handle (A).

2. While holding Release Latch (C) back, open Handle (A) fully past the locking gears until Latch (C) locks in a

completely open position or until the load releases.

CAUTION:The load will release at this point.

3. To loosen or remove strap, pull up on ratchet and slide strap out of Spindle (B).



FORTIEDOWNSTRAP

1.DONOTusetiedownstrapfortowingvehiclesortoholdorsuspendhumanweight.

2.DONOTuseextensionbarlever,pliersoranytoolstooperateasahandle.Usehandpoweronly.

3.Protectstrapwebbingfromsharpedges,heatandacid.

Replacestrapwebbingifitiscut,wornordamaged.Inspect

strapwebbing,hooksandhardwarebeforeeachuse.



MAINTENANCE

IMPORTANT:BeforeperforminganymaintenanceofthebottlejackALWAYSdetachfromtheframeand

placeonalevelsurface.AIRPURGINGINSTRUCTIONSWiththeramfullyretract ed,locateandremovethe

oilfillerplug.InsertthefootpedalintothesleeveofHydraulicRam,andthenpump6to8

strokes.Thiswill

helpreleaseanypressurizedairwhichmaybetrappedinthereservoir.Besurethattheoillevelisjust

belowtheoilfillerplughole.Reinstalltheoilfillerplug.Sometimesduringshipmentandhandling,airmay

becometrappedinthehydraulicsystemcausingpooror

nolifting.



OILLEVEL:

IMPORTANT:Whenaddingorreplacingoil,alwaysuseagoodgradeofhydraulicjackoil,transmissionoilor

turbineoilandalwaysavoidmixingdifferenttypesofoil.Neverusebrakefluid,alcohol,glycerine,

detergentmotoroilordirtyoilofanykind.Improperoilusagewillcauseseriousinternaldamage

tojack.

ADDINGOIL:Withramfullyloweredandjackonlevelground,removeoilfillplug.Addoiliflevelismore

than1/4"belowholereplacecoverplate.

REPLACINGOIL:Forbestperformanceandlongestlife,oilshouldbereplacedatleastonceeveryyear.To

drainoil,

removecoverplate,oilfillerplugandreleasevalve.BeVERYCAREFULtonotallowdirtorany

foreignmatterintothesystem.

LUBRICATION:Putgreaseinfittingonbaseandlubricateliftingarmspindlewithoil,every3months.



RUSTPREVENTION:Cleanandwipewithanoilycloth,thepistonramandpumppistonevery3monthsor

whensignsofrustorcorrosionappear.Whennotinuse,alwaysleavethesaddleandpumppistoninthe

completelydownposition.
