Thismanualhasbeenproducedbyanewtechnicalinformationsystem.Thisnewsystemisdesignedtodeliver

technicalinformationelectronicallythroughwebdelivery(eTIM),DVD,andpapermanuals.Acodingsystemcalled

SAPhasbeendevelopedtolinkthetechnicalinformationtootherProductSupportfunctions,e.g.,Warranty.

Technicalinformationiswrittentosupportthemaintenanceandserviceofthefunctionsorsystemsonacustomer's

machine.Whenacustomerhasaconcernontheirmachineitisusuallybecauseafunctionorsystemontheirma-

chineisnotworkingatall,isnotworkingefciently,orisnotrespondingcorrectlytotheircommands.Whenyourefer

tothetechnicalinformationinthismanualtoresolvethatcustomer'sconcern,youwillndalltheinformationclassied

usingtheSAPcoding,accordingtothefunctionsorsystemsonthatmachine.Onceyouhavelocatedthetechnical

informationforthatfunctionorsystem,youwillthenndallthemechanical,electricalorhydraulicdevices,compo-

nents,assemblies,andsubassembliesforthatfunctionorsystem.Youwillalsondallthetypesofinformationthat
