BLOTZ B10-PS-004, B10_PS_004 Assembly Instructions

  • Hello! I have reviewed the instructions for the BLOTZ Nuclear Power Station B10-PS-004. This document details the assembly process, highlighting the modular design that enables switching the dome for a radar dish. I understand the materials and tools required, and I'm ready to assist you with any questions you have about the construction of this model.
  • What type of glue is required for assembly?
What tools are needed to remove the sections from the sprue?
Can I use pegs or elastic bands during assembly?
Can the dome be removed after assembly?
Is a radar dish included with the power station?
10mm Nuclear Power Station
B10-PS-004
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
Take the three small walls and their roof from sprue as
shown above.
Glue the three walls together….
..;then glue the roof on top.
Take the back wall.
Glue the assembly to it as shown.
Take the other four walls and the base from the
sprue.
Glue those four walls plus the rear wall into place.
Glue the roof into position.
Take the wall pieces shown above from the sprue.
Glue all of the shorter pieces and two of the longer
ones into place.
Attach the cap by inserting the lugs from each walls
piece in turn. This can be eased by using yoor finger
from within through the gap. Then put the front wall
into place.
Carefully lift the cap enough to get the top lugs of
the front wall into position.
Take the roof edges from the sprue.
Glue the front and rear pieces into position before
adding the side sections.
Take the base of the dome and the supports from the
sprue.
Glue the supports to the base.
Add the central roof section, moving around it to
insert the lugs from the supports one at a time.
Take the outer skin of the dome.
Work around the dome adding each panel in turn.
The completed dome.
The completed power station.
If you do not glue the dome in place, it can be swapped out for a radar dish, turning the building into a radar
station. (radar sold separately)
