Ford Power Steering Pump Pulley Installer
1. Assemble drive nut and pulley onto forcing screw as shown.
2. Thread forcing screw into pump shaft until forcing screw
taper touches against pump shaft.
3. Verifypulleyisushwithpumpshaft.
4. Hold forcing screw in place, and turn drive nut against pulley
until pulley is pressed onto pump shaft to correct depth.
CAUTION: To prevent equipment damage,
Do NOT force or over tighten forcing screw into pump
shaft. Hand tighten only.
Regularly lubricate forcing screw using No. 280934
pressure lubricant or equivalent.
USE OF AN AIR TOOL WITH THIS INSTALLER WILL VOID
WARRANTY.
CAUTION: To prevent personal injury, wear eye pro-
tection that meets ANSI Z87.1 and OSHA standards.
