Maytronics 2010 offers two operation modes - an Automatic mode and a Manual direction control mode.

In the Automatic mode, you can change all cleaning parameters. The remote allows you to choose between different cleaning cycles, delay times, and cleaning actions. For example, you can set the cleaning cycle to be 1.5 hours, 2.5 hours, 3.5 hours, or 4 hours, and you can choose to have the cleaner start immediately, after one hour, or after two hours. You can also choose the cleaning action, such as standard (floor and wall cleaning), ultra-clean (stronger suction and slower movement), floor and cove cleaning only, or walls and waterline cleaning only.
