comedy show. Twinkling lights, music,
and sound eects add to the prime-
time fun! Plus, as kids play, they're
developing listening and speaking
skills, and building confidence and
self-esteem.

choose the desired
volume level: low and
high. Note: To conserve
batteries, The Riddle
Show will turn o after
two minutes of nonuse.

GETTING STARTED
The Riddle Show comes with three
AAA batteries. To install fresh ones,
follow the instructions in this guide.

Tongue twisters do not have answers,
but a press of the Answer Button
provides a silly response.
TIP
Add to the show-time excitement!
Provide dress-up clothing; create
a stage by adding a “curtain,” such
as a sheet. Entertainers can make
and sell tickets, programs, or other
show items. Afterward, stars can
sign autographs for fans!
1. Open the battery compartment door by
carefully loosening the screw with a coin.
2. Install three fresh AAA batteries following the
illustration inside the battery compartment.
•Donotuserechargeablebatteries.
•Donotmixoldandnewbatteries.
•Donotmixdierenttypesofbatteries:
alkaline, standard (carbon zinc) or
rechargeable (nickel-cadmium)
batteries.
•Donotrechargenonrechargeablebatteries.
•Removerechargeablebatteriesfromthetoy
before recharging.
•Onlychargerechargeablebatteriesunder
adult supervision.
•Onlyusebatteriesofthesameorequivalent
type as recommended.
•Insertbatterieswiththecorrectpolarity.
•Removeexhaustedbatteriesfromtheunit.
•Donotshortcircuitthesupplyterminals.
CARING FOR THE RIDDLE SHOW
Keep food and beverages away from
The Riddle Show. Take care not to spill
liquidofanykindonit,anddonot
submerge it in water. You may clean
The Riddle Show’s surface with a soft,
very slightly damp cloth.
•Topreventcorrosionandpossibledamage
to the product, we recommend removing the
batteries from the unit if it will not be used
for more than two weeks.
3. Close the compartment door and tighten
the screw.

BATTERY INSTALLATION AND INFORMATION
SHOWTIME!
The Riddle Show is simple to use.
1. Slide the switch on the back of the
unit to power on and choose the
desired volume level.
2. Press the Riddle Button or the Joke
Button.
• If the Riddle Button is pressed,
one of the riddles will play.
• If the Joke Button is pressed,
one of the jokes or tongue
twisters will play.
If you wish to hear the riddle or joke
again, press the Repeat Button.
3. Press the Answer Button to hear
the answer to the riddle or joke
and a fun sound eect.
ORIGINAL SCRIPTS
The Riddle Show has a lot of material,
but young stars can use the microphone
to perform their own work. There are
books of jokes and riddles available
at the library, or kids can find them
online. Children can write and perform
their own monologues and tell stories
too. Performers just speak into the
microphone. The microphone feature
is active whenever The Riddle Show is
not speaking or music is not playing.
