TheseatMUSTberemovedfromthepersonal

Thiswarrantyisextendedonlytotheoriginalpurchaserwho

willnotberepaired;alldeviceswillexhibitchangesinoperating
noiseduetoaging.
Theforegoingexpresswarrantyisexclusiveandinlieuofanyother
warrantieswhatsoever,whetherexpressorimplied,includingthe
impliedwarrantiesofmerchantabilityandfitnessforaparticular
purpose,andthesoleremedyforviolationsofanywarranty
whatsoever,shallbelimitedtorepairorreplacementofthedefective

“SafetyandHandling”ofthepersonaltransporterrequiresthe
closeattentionofthepersonaltransporteruseraswellasthe
assistant.Thismanualpointsoutthemostcommonproceduresand
techniquesinvolvedinthesafeoperationandmaintenanceofthe
personaltransporter.Itisimportanttopracticeandmasterthese
safetechniquesuntilyouarecomfortableinmaneuveringaroundthe
frequentlyencounteredarchitecturalbarriers.
Usethisinformationonlyasa“basic”guide.Thetechniquesthatare
discussedonthefollowingpageshavebeenusedsuccessfullybymany.
UsersandassistantsMUSTbeawarethatthehandlingand
maneuverabilitycharacteristicsofrearwheeldrivepersonal
transportersareinherentlydifferentfromcenterandfrontwheel
drivewheelchairs.Handlingandmaneuverabilitydifferenceswillbe
mostnoticeablewhentravelingupordownrampsandslopesorover
obstaclesandroughterrainasthismayshifttheuserscenterofmass
resultingindecreasedstability.ALWAYSreducespeedandwearthe

Whilethepersonaltransporterisdesignedforuseprimarilyin
andaroundthehome,theprovidershoulddeterminewhetherthis
personaltransporterissuitablefortheactualenvironmentinwhich
thepersonaltransporterwillbeused.
