Use Instructions:
1. Holding the 3M
TM
Airstream
TM
High Efficiency Headgear upside down, remove the outer grill,
pre-filter, and inner grill.
2. Using a properly charged 3M
TM
Battery Packs 520-01-02R01 (AS-400 and AS-600) and
520-01-18R01 (AS-200) connected to the headgear, switch the battery pack on and ensure
that air blows through the main filter.
3. Place the airflow indicator over the fan grill.
4. Gently turn the headgear right-side up. The correct airflow will retain the indicator in position.
If the airflow will not retain the indicator, replace the main filter. If adequate airflow cannot be
obtained, refer to the 3M Airstream
TM
high efficiency headgear

5. When adequate airflow is obtained, remove the airflow indicator and replace the inner grill,
pre-filter, and outer grill prior to use.
Note:
Do not use the airflow indicator if it is bent, since it will not provide accurate airflow measurements.
