Pleasefollowthefollowinginstructionstobuildanetworkconnectionbetweenyournew
broadbandrouter,yourcomputersandothernetworkdevices:
1. ConnectyourxDSL/cablemodemtotheWAN(Blue)portwithanEthernetcable.

2. Connectallyourcompute rs,networkdevices(networkenabledconsumerdeviceslike
gameconsoles,orswitches/hubs)totheLANports(Yellow,1to4).
3. Connectthepoweradaptertothewallsocket,andthenconnectittothe‘5VDC’socket
onthebackpaneloftherouter.
4. PleasecheckalltheLEDsonthefrontpanel.The‘PWR’LEDshouldbesteadilyon,WAN
andLANLEDsshouldbeonifthe
computer/networkdeviceconnectedtothe
respectiveportoftherouterispoweredonandcorrectlyconnected.IfPWDLEDisnot
on,oranyLEDyouexpectedisnoton,pleaserecheckthecabling,orjumpto‘42
Troubleshooting’forpossiblereasonsandsolution.
5. Toimprove
wirelesssignalreception,pleasearrangetheantennaandmakeit
perpendiculartotheground,andplacethewirelessaccesspointinopenspace.Please
keepthedistancebetweenantennas,iftheantennasaretooclosetoeachother,
wirelesssignalreceptionwillbeaffected.
