Please read this warranty card.

Keep your purchase receipt to enable you to proceed quickly in the event of a Warranty Service.

Warranty Terms & Conditions

1. TEAC warrants to the original retail purchaser only, that this product is free from defects in material and

workmanship under normal domestic use and authorises free service during the warranty period at any TEAC

Authorised Service Centre only. TEAC warranty only applies to products purchased, used and serviced in

Australia.

2. Subject to the terms herein, this warranty effectively covers the equipment as specified in the Warranty Periods

Table below from the date of purchase.

3. In home service will only be provided as part of this warranty if all the following conditions are met;

a) The product as indicated in the Warranty Period Table.

b) The product is within the warranty period.

c) The product is located within the normal service area of the local TEAC Authorised Service Centre.

In any other situation or circumstance, where an in home service call is made, a service fee will be charged by the

Service Provider including a travel fee if outside normal service area.

If TEAC determines that the product is not repairable on site, TEAC can complete the repair by taking the product

to a TEAC Authorised Service Centre.

Where in-home service is not available, the purchaser is required to send the product to the nearest TEAC

Authorised Service Centre for repair. In this event, a copy of this warranty card and a copy of your receipt of

purchase must be enclosed to be a valid warranty. Such equipment or part must be sent freight prepaid to your

nearest TEAC Authorised Service Centre. After the repair, the product will be available for collection by or return to

the purchaser at purchaser’s cost. The warranty does not cover freight or insurance. In all cases of transit damage or

lost, a claim must be filed against the carrier by the purchaser, even if shipment is arranged by TEAC. TEAC in-

home service may also be available at a fee upon request.

4. Accessories, Remote, including power adaptors, AV box, TV tuners, etc, are warranted to be defect free for 1 year.

5. Replacement of spare parts under normal usage; except cabinet, front panel, knob, removable accessories, battery,

consumable, AC cord, connecting cord and other accessories, are warranted as specified in Warranty Periods Table,

and will be repaired or replaced at the sole judgement of TEAC.

6. The warranties hereby conferred do not extend to, and exclude, any cost associated with the installation, de-

installation or re-installation of a product (be it in-home or otherwise), including costs related to the mounting,

demounting or remounting of any screen, (and any other ancillary activities), delivery, handling, freighting,

transportation or insurance of the product or any part thereof or replacement of and do not extend to, and exclude,

any damage or loss occurring by reason of, during, associated with, or related to such installation, de-installation,

re-installation or transit.

7. Normal customer maintenance as described in the owner’s manual is not covered by this warranty (such as cleaning

VCR heads etc.)

8. Service will be provided only during normal business hours and under safety conditions and circumstances.

9. This warranty does not apply to equipment showing abuse, damage or that it may have been tampered with, altered

or repaired outside any TEAC Authorised Service Centre. If so, the warranty will be void.

10. No one is authorised to assume any liability on behalf of TEAC or impose any obligation on it, in connection with

the sale of any equipment other than as stated in this warranty and outlined above.

11. In no event will TEAC be responsible or liable for indirect or consequential damages from interrupted operations or

other causes.

12. Warranty is not transferable to any subsequent purchaser if the product is sold during the warranty period,

1. Before operating this system, check the voltage of this system to see if it is identical with the voltage of

your local power supply.

2. Unplug the system from the wall outlet if it is not used for a long time. To disconnect the cord, pull it out by

grasping the plug.

3. To avoid electric shock, do not open the cabinet.

4. There is no user serviceable parts inside. In case of system failure, unplug the power cord and consult

your dealer.

5. Do not place this unit on an unstable cart or sloping surface. Ensure good ventilation surrounding the

product. To prevent fire, do not cover the ventilation of the apparatus with news papers, tablecloths,

curtains, etc.

6. To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the apparatus.

properly. Remove the disc and leave the unit turned on for about an hour until the moisture evaporates.

12.Should any solid object or liquid fall into the unit, unplug the system and have it checked by qualified

personnel before operating it again.

13. Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.

Use a damp cloth for cleaning.

14. Do not use attachments not recommended by the product manufacturer as they may cause hazards.

1. Connect all cables and secure into place.

2. Fix the wall bracket in place using two screws ensuring the locking pin hole is facing upwards. Then screw

the second part of the bracket in place using the two screws, ensuring the locking pin hole is facing upwards.

Finally slide the unit onto the wall bracket and secure in place using the locking pin.

3. The unit can also be mounted on a stand. Place the unit on the stand and secure into place using the

screws provided.

1. This DVD player has video output mode, you can choose it to connect with the TV terminal.

2. If your TV has component input terminal, then you can use the signal connecting cable to connect with the

DVD player’s component output terminal. By doing so, the picture will be more clear.

3. To avoid affecting the picture output, do not connect video, component, HDMI at the same time.

Use a HDMI cable to connect the HDMI jack on the DVD Player to HDMI IN on a HDMI compatible device

(e.g.: TV, Projector, Adaptor).

1. Using the supplied wire Antenna.

2. Using the coaxial type connector .

A 75Ohm antenna with coaxial type connector should be connected to the FM 75 ohm coaxia terminal.

3. If reception is poor, connect the outside antenna.

disconnect the supplied FM wire antenna.

1. This unit has a high power output and wide dynamic range. If speakers other than those supplied are used,

they must be chosen according to speaker specification, or the speakers can be damaged.

2. Before connecting or removing mains power, please turn off the power on the unit and turn the volume to

minimum or it may damage the speakers.

1. Remove the battery compartment cover.

2. Insert two batteries (size AAA) correctly, so that the + and - polarities match the polarity diagrams in the

battery compartment.

* About half a year of normal operation can be expected when using normal batteries.

* When the batteries are exhausted, the commander can no longer operate the system.

Replace both batteries at the same time with new ones.

* Don’t use an old battery with a new one.

* Don’t use different types of batteries together.

* When the unit is not used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to avoid damage caused by battery

leakage and corrosion.

Place the disc into the disc tray (with the printed side face to you) ,then press it downward lightly.

The unit will read the disc and the disc type will display on the TV screen then play it automatically.

When the disc playing, press the eject button (K on the unit) to take the disc out ,press this button

again , the disc will goes into the disc tray . The unit will read the disc and play it automatically .

12.Press the stop button (

L) to stop playing, the unit will store the last playing time in the memory

automatically, then press the play/pause button (

BF), the unit will resume to last memory time

and continue playback automatically.

If you press the stop button (

L) twice to stop the disc playing.

(You can also operate the key “

L” on the panel of the unit.)

13.Press the fast backward button (

D) once by once to select one of the variety of different

speeds to fast backward play or select normal speed to play. Each time you press the button,

the screen shows.

14.One title, one chapter, one track or all the disc repeat play can be set by pressing the mode

button. (You can also operate the key “

When playing a DVD disc, this function can be used to play a title, chapter or disc repeatedly.

15. Load a Video CD disc in PBC ON mode (the MENU button turns the PBC function ON/OFF).

You can select tracks or chapters with the number buttons (

0-9,10+0-9,10+

If the track or chapter number is less than 10, press the number buttons 0-9.

If the track or chapter number is over 10, press 10+ button and press the one of the number

buttons 0-9.

16. Press the mute button in play mode, all sound will be muted, press the button again to resume

sound.

17. In power mode, press the USB function button

19. This unit has a loudness function, it can automatically increase the bass sound at low volume

(the higher the volume, the smaller bass increase), which improves the output sound. You

only need to press the loudness button (

is playing.

20. Press the super bass button to reinforce the bass sound to maintain rich, full bass at low volume,

press this button again to cancel the effect.

21. This function can be used while playing a film or a still picture.

22. When playing a the Video CD, you can choose MONO (LEFT MONO, RIGHT Mono),

“STEREO” audio output by pressing vocal mode select button (

When playing DVD disc recorded with several languages, you can repeatedly press the

) to select one of languages to play.

23. If the Video CD has a menu, you can set the playback control function to “PBC ON” mode by

pressing the menu button

). The unit reads the disc and the menu will display on the TV

screen, then use the number buttons to select the desired track.

26. In stop mode, press the play/pause button (BF) to start playing the disc.

When playing disc, press the play/pause button (

the button again, it will continue to play.

27. Press the fast forward button (

C) repeatedly to select one of the variety of different speeds to

fast forward play or select normal speed to play. Each time you press the button, the screen

shows.

28. Press the OSD button to display the playing information of the disc on the TV screen.

29. If your DVD disc has one or more music chapters or titles, you can setup playing order for the

disc using this button. Press the program button

playing (the first selection is title and the second selection is chapter of the programs

menu.). After finishing program, press the S,T,W,X buttons to select “START” then

30. Press the goto button until the time or chapter/track edit box appears. Enter hours, minutes and

seconds from left to right in the time edit box using remote control numerical keypad. Or enter

your desired chapter/track number in the chapter/track edit box using remote control numerical

keypad.

Playing Picture CD disc

Place the picture CD on the disc tray correctly, the unit will read the disc and play it automatically,

if the disc can not play automatically, press the button

BF to play.

When the picture is displayed on the TV screen, you can press the

10+, 0-910+, 0-9

10+, 0-9 buttons on the remote control to

select the desired picture on the disc then press the

Note: Play will continue until the final picture or when the selected pictures have been played.

When playing, use the L button to select different play mode. These play modes list as the following:

You may need use the K button on the unit to stop playing and open the disc tray.

You can connect the USB flash to the USB jack at the front panel of unit. The unit will play MP3 music or the

pictures from the flash directly.

1. Plug the USB flash into the USB jack.

2. Press the
