TheserversupportsoneIntel®Xeon®orCeleron®dual-coreorquad-coremicroprocessor.

•Integratedmanagementmodule

TheIntegratedmanagementmodule(IMM)combinesserviceprocessorfunctions,videocontroller,and

(whenanoptionalvirtualmediakeyisinstalled)remotepresencefunctioninasinglechip.TheIMM

providesadvancedservice-processorcontrol,monitoring,andalertingfunction.Ifanenvironmental

conditionexceedsathresholdorifasystemcomponentfails,theIMMlightsLEDstohelpyoudiagnose

Avirtualmediakeyisrequiredtoenabletheremotepresenceandblue-screencapturefeatures.The

remotepresencefeatureprovidesthefollowingfunctions:

–Remotelyviewingvideowithgraphicsresolutionsupto1280x1024,regardlessofthesystemstate

Theblue-screencapturefeaturecapturesthevideodisplaycontentsbeforetheIMMrestartstheserver

whentheIMMdetectsanoperating-systemhangcondition.Asystemadministratorcanusethe

blue-screencapturetoassistindeterminingthecauseofthehangcondition.

full-heightcards).BothslotscansupportPCIExpressPCIcards.

•RAIDsupport

TheRAIDcontrollerprovideshardwareredundantarrayofindependentdisks(RAID)support.The

standardRAIDcontrollerprovidesRAIDlevels0,1,and1E.OptionalRAIDPCIcardsareavailablefor

purchasethatprovideadditionalRAIDlevels.
