Please keep this User’s Manual for later reference.
Please disconnect this equipment from connecter before cleaning. Don’t use liquid or prayed detergent
for cleaning. Use moisture sheet or cloth for cleaning.
Make sure the equipment is connected to the power source with the correct voltage, frequency, and
ampere.
All cautions and warnings on the equipment should be noted.
Never pour any liquid into opening; this could cause re or electrical shock.
Never open the equipment. For safety reason, the equipment should only be opened by quali ed
service personnel.
If one of the following situations arises, get the equipment checked by a service personnel:
Liquid has penetrated into the equipment.
The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
The equipment has not work well or you can not get it work according to user’s manual.
The equipment has dropped and damaged.
If the equipment has obvious sign of breakage.
Ambient operation temperature: less than 40 degrees C.
Caution on use of battery: Use the battery recommended by the manufacturer or the same type
of battery installed by the manufacturer. If incorrect battery is used, it may cause explosion or
re hazard. Recycle or discard used batteries according the manufacturer’s instruction or your local
authority.
Safety caution concerning laser products:
DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drive is "Class I Laser Product" This equipment, built with DVD and/or
CD disc drives using laser beam to read or write data on optical discs, is classi ed as "Class 1 laser
product". While the laser optical drive is reading data from or writing data to an optical disc, do not
force open the disc drive door. Press the Eject button to retrieve the optical disc only after the in-use
indicator goes off.

Loading a Battery
Remove the back cover of the remote control and insert two AA batteries in the remote control.
Make sure the batteries are inserted in the correct direction with the + and – symbols on the batteries
matching the ones on the remote control.

Using the remote control
Point the remote control at the remote control sensor at the front of the PC, and press a button.
Pressing the Power button turns the PC on or puts it in Standby (sleep) mode.

BIOS setup
The BIOS (Basic Input and Output System) Setup Utility displays the system>s con guration status
and provides options to set system parameters. The parameters are stored in battery-backed-up
CMOS RAM that saves this information even when the power is turned off. When the system is
turned back on, the system is con gured with the values found in CMOS.
Note: After you have nished the installation for the CPU, RAM, CD-ROM and Hard
disk, then rst time to turn on the PC. You need to access the BIOS setup Utility.
The BIOS utility will auto-detect all devices automatically.
Entering the Setup Utility
When you power on the system, BIOS enters the Power-On Self Test (POST) routines. POST is a
series of built-in diagnostics performed by the BIOS.
Press DEL to enter SETUP
Press the delete key <Delete> to access the Award BIOS Setup Utility:

Using BIOS
Press the delete key <Delete> to access.
Note: We recommend user to use "Load Optimal Default" setting in BIOS utility, other
option settings are for advanced customer only.

Now you can move the cursor by using direction keys on the keyboard. Move the cursor to the option item
"Exit", then move down to "Load Optimal Default", press "Enter" button.
Then the following dialogue screen will pop up to con rm the default BIOS values. Select "OK" to con rm
and then press "Enter" button.

Finally, move the cursor to "Save Change and Exit" and press "Enter" to save the parameter and exit
BIOS setup.
