Before getting started, ensure the package contains the following components:

Recommended Tools:

• Drill

• Lever

• Phillips Screwdriver

• Pencil

• 1/16" (1.5 mm) Drill Bit

• Safety Glasses

Make sure you do not hit the glass with the drill or screws. Contact with the

glass could cause the glass to crack or break, which could result in injury.

Installation on outside sliding doors

Anti-lift lock(Optional)

Place rotaing bracket on the door jam of the stationary door.

• Mark and drill 1/16" holes and attach bracket to door jam with screws provided.

• Mark and drill 1/16" holes and install screws through saddle catch and Anti-Lift Lock

(if desired) into door.

• With other end of bar in the saddle bracket, extend bar to inside edge of sliding door, hold in

horizontal position.

• Place rotating bracket against inside edge of non-moving door. Saddle installs on inside

frame of movable door. Care must be taken that the saddle is positioned at least 2 inches

above the sliding door handle.

Installation

To store

•

Press release lever and allow smaller bar to telescope into large bar.

• Pivot bar vertically ﬂush against door jamb.

To operate

• Close door and extend sliding portion of bar until end drops into locking saddle.

For ventilation

•

Slide door open to desired position. Extend sliding portion of the bar until end drops into

the saddle. (Door will not open further unless release lever is pressed.)

ANTI-LIFT LOCK

Push

Offers enhanced security by locking the bar in place (Installation optional).

•

Place the anti-lift lock behind the saddle, making sure the three holes are aligned and

that the spring clip overhangs the saddle.

•

Install the screws through both the saddle and the lock.
