Compatible Module Replacement Case Instructions
1. Remove the four screws in the back of the
old case using the included 5/64-inch hex wrench. 2. Remove the back case half.
3. Remove circuit board from the bottom case.
5. Connect the antenna of the new case top to the circuit board. Align the antenna with the connector on the circuit
board. Apply a light pressure to the top of the antenna connector and it will pop into place.
WARNING: Do not force the connector or it could be damaged.
6. Swivel the antenna connector back and forth. If connected correctly, the antenna will swivel freely. If it doesn’t, the
antenna is not connected correctly. If the antenna is not connected correctly, remove the antenna and inspect the
connectors for damage. If you think they are damaged, please contact product support (contact information is listed
at the end of the manual).
4. Remove the antenna wire by lifting up on it
close to where it connects to the circuit board.

7. Place circuit board in the new case bottom. Be sure the white
connector is aligned over the holes in the case bottom. 8. Set the circuit board in place.
9. Set the bind button onto the blue button.
10. Put four screws in case bottom and screw case back together. WARNING: Be sure the antenna wire is not
crimped between the cases. Do not over-tighten the screws or the case could be damaged.
11. Press the bind button to be sure it operates freely.
WARNING: A range check must be performed before flying the module to ensure it is functioning properly.
Install the module in your transmitter and perform an advanced range check following the instructions in the
Spektrum
Air Module System Manual.
