THE DETERGENT DISPENSER
AND SALT COMPARTMENT
Salt
Compartment for salt. Only use special
salt for dishwasher and/or washing
machine. The proper salt can also be
ordered in www.aeg.com/shop.
To keep the water softening function
active, pour salt in this compartment
when necessary. Do not use ne salt!
Compartment for wash phase.

Before you activate the appliance read the
Safety Information chapter in the User Manual.
Before rst use make sure that all transit bolts
have been removed, the electrical power is
available and water tap is open.

SoftWater technology
This washer puries and softens water,
cleaning as thoroughly as a 60 degree
wash at just 30 degrees to keep each colour
looking like new.
MyWash 49min
Exceptional care for daily loads in under an
hour, with the MyWash 49min cycle.

1. Press the On/O button.

2. Turn the programme dial to set the desired
programme.
3. It is possible to change the programme default
setting by means of the corresponding buttons.

4. Put the laundry in the drum. Close the door.
5. Pour the detergent and other treatments in the
proper compartments of the detergent dispenser.
6. Start the cycle by use of the Start/Pause button.

7. The cycle starts. If the Delay Start has been
selected, the appliance starts the countdown.

8. At the and of the programme, remove the laundry.
9. Press the On/O button to switch the appliance o.
The Stand-by function automatically deactivates the
appliance to decrease the energy consumption when
you do not touch any buttons or programme dial for ve
minutes:
During programme set up, before starting the
cycle. Press On/O button to activate it again. Your
settings are cancelled.
After the end of the cycle:
Press On/O button to activate it again.
The display shows the cycle end.

Refer to “Care and Cleaning” chapter in the
user manual for more details.
Clean the detergent dispenser and the salt
compartment regularly. Before cleaning, make sure that
all compartments are empty.
Make sure that pockets are empty and all loose
elements are tied up before running your cycle.
Remove any foreign objects (such as metal clip,
buttons, coins, etc.) that you may nd in the door seal,
the inlet hose lter and the drum. If necessary, please
contact the Authorised Service Centre.
To optimize appliance lifespan and
laundry results, we recommend you
to perform a maintenance wash at
least once a month.
Clean the drain pump lter at least
twice a year.

MyWash 49min. 60°C - 30°C Cottons and mixed fabrics. Perfect fabric care for daily loads.
Cottons 95°C - cold White cottons and coloured cottons. Heavily, normally, lightly soiled garments.
Cottons ECO 60°C - 40°C
White cottons and coloured cottons. Normally soiled.
Standard programmes for the Energy Label consumption values.
Synthetics 60°C - cold Synthetic items or mixed fabric items. Normally soiled.
Delicates 40°C - cold
Delicate fabrics such as acrylics, viscose, polyester items.
Normally and lightly soiled.
Wool 40°C - cold Machine washable wool, hand washable wool and delicates.
Down Jackets 40°C - cold Single synthetic blanket, padded clothes, duvets, down jackets.
20 min. - 3 kg 40°C - 30°C Cotton and synthetic items lightly soiled or once worn.
Steam - Steam programme for cotton and synthetic items.
Spin/Drain -
All fabrics, except woollens and very delicate fabrics.
Programme for spinning and draining the water.
