ϯ͘ Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.

Ϳ Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home. Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.

Ϳ Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.

ϰ͘ Mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, strong enough and 1/4” larger than the canopy on all side. Any gaps

between the mounting surface and canopy exceeding 3/16” should be corrected as required.

ϱ͘ Make sure that the ceiling or wall can stand the weight of the lamp before ŝŶƐƚĂůůĂƚŝŽŶ.

ϲ͘ Make sure the voltage you are using is 120V. The maximum wattage is dǇƉĞ͕DĂǆϰϬt per bulb.

ϳ͘ Keep the lamp away from acidic and ĂůŬĂůŝŶĞƐƵďƐƚĂŶĐĞƐ in case of damaging the surface of the lamp.

ϴ͘ When replacing bulb, you should turn off or unplug the lamp and you must wait until it is cool as bulbs get hot quickly.

Step 1: Remove the ĐŽůůĂƌ ring (&) from collar loop('). Attach the single bar () to outlet box with mounting screws (B).

Step 2: Pass canopy () over the mounted collar loop (') then secure with ĐŽůůĂƌ ring (&) to ĐŚĞĐŬƚŚĞƉƌŽƉĞƌƉŽƐŝƚŝŽŶ.

dŚĞŶƵnscrew ĐŽůůĂƌƌŝŶŐ;&ͿĨƌŽŵĐŽůůĂƌůŽŽƉ;'ͿĂŶĚƌĞŵŽǀĞƚŚĞĐĂŶŽƉǇ;Ϳ͘ZĞĨĞƌƚŽƚŚĞĨŽůůŽǁŝŶŐŶŽƚĞ͕ǇŽƵ

Note: The canopy () should be snug against the ceiling and the collar loop (') should be screwed enough

threads (no less than 6 threads)ŽŶƚŽ the ƉƌĞͲĂƐƐĞŵďůĞĚthreaded nipple for more secure hanging.If not,

adjust the ƉƌĞͲĂƐƐĞŵďůĞĚƚŚƌĞĂĚĞĚŶŝƉƉůĞ and collar loop (') until the ƐĞĐƵƌĞ height is reached.

dŚĞŶƌemove the ĐŽůůĂƌ ring (&) and canopy()͕ĂŶĚƐĞƚĂsideĨŽƌƚŚĞĨŽůůŽǁŝŶŐƐƚĞƉƐ.

Step 3: Slip the ĐŽůůĂƌ ring(&) over the chain(/),then do the same with the canopy().

Step 4: Open the quick link(,)attach the quick link (,) to connect the loop ('). Close the quick link(,)͘Pass the

wires ĨƌŽŵƚŚĞĐŚĂŝŶ;/ͿƚŽƚŚĞ collar loop(') ĂŶĚthe top of ƉƌĞͲĂƐƐĞŵďůĞĚƚŚƌĞĂĚĞĚŶŝƉƉůĞand gently pull

ƚŚĞǁŝƌĞƐƚŽĞŶƐƵƌĞƚŚĞǁŝƌĞƐĂƌĞŶŽƚƐƚƌĞƐƐĞĚ.

Step5: If needed, ƐŚŽƌƚĞŶ thelength of fixtureǁŝƌĞƐ.At this point, the remaining wire length measured ĂďŽǀĞƚŚĞ

ƐŝŶŐůĞďĂƌ;ͿŝƐĂƚůĞĂƐƚϲΗ͘

Twist ZLUHV WRJHWKHU ZLWK plastic wire connector untiltightly joined, DQG wrap each connector with

approved electrical tape.Be sure that no wire strands are exposed and then carefully tuck all wires into the

outlet box.

Step 7: Raise canopy () to ceiling and secure canopy () in place by tightening ĐŽůůĂƌ ring (&) onto collar loop (').
