Smoothes ink flow from diaphragm pumps
Eliminates surge and pulsation to smooth diaphragm
pump flow. Teflon coated cast aluminum and Stainless
Steel construction. Available with choice of 30, 60, 100
or 150 mesh strainer for effective filtration.

Pinch Valve creates back pressure to confine surg-
ing to filter/surge chamber.
NOTE: All connections and surge chamber cover
must be tight or air may escape, allowing ink to fill
the chamber, canceling its effect.
TYPICAL INSTALLATION
The viscosity control must have smooth ink flow
to operate properly. Position the control after the
regulating ink flow valve.
The same principle applies when ink is delivered
to a second fountain.
APPLICATION WITH GRAYMILLS VISCOSITY CONTROL
Strainers are available in 4 different meshes. The cartridge
assembly includes a strainer well as the stainless steel bottom
cup and retainer spring. A spare cartridge permits quick
changeover to keep the filter in service
