system.Be sure tocoordinatesitepreparationandinstallationwith yourkitchen

Includetheseminimumguidelinesin yoursite preparation:

2 TransportUnpackagedRefrigeratorToSite
Bynow,youhavealreadyremovedyourrefrigerator'sshippingcarton.Youmay
still needto usea handtruckto moveitthroughclosespacesor entrances.Ifthe
refrigeratorislargerthanan entrance,considertwooptions:
, Removetheentrancedoorif one exists.
, Removetherefrigeratordoors(seehowin yourUse& DareGuide).
When usinga handtruck:
, Loadrefrigeratorfromsideofcabinetonly.
, Donotrunretainingstrapsoverhandles.
o Donotover-tightenretainingstraps.
, Neveruse refrigeratorhandlesto movetherefrigerator.
, Removetapefromdoors onlyafterunitis in place.
3ConnectWaterSupply
What you will need:
, Accesstoacoldwaterline
with pressureof
20-100psi.
o Coppertubingwith ¼-inch
(6.4mm)OD. Lengthfor thi.+
tubingis thedistancefrom
Waterline hooku
the rearofthe refrigeratortoyourhousehold
watersupplyline plus 7feet (2.1 meters).
Ashut-offvalvefor theconnectionbetweenyour household
water lineandthe refrigeratorsupplyline.
Donot use aself-piereingshut-offvalve.
A compressionnutandferrule(sleeve)for thewater supply
connectionat therearofyourrefrigerator.
Toconnectthe water supply to the rear of your refrigerator:
1 Ensurethattherefrigeratoris notpluggedin.
2 Flushthesupplylineuntilwateris clearby placingtheendof the
coppertube in a sinkor bucketandopeningtheshut-offvalve.
3 Unscrewtheplasticcap fromthewater valveinletattherear of
yourrefrigerator.Discardthecap.
4 Slidethebrasscompressionnut,then theferrule(sleeve)onto
coppertube.
5 Pushthecoppertube intowatervalve inletasfar as itwillgo
(1/4inch).
6 Slidetheferrule(sleeve)intovalveandfinger-tightenthe
compressionnutontovalve.Tightenanotherhalf turnwitha
wrench. Do not over-tighten.
7 Securethecoppertube toyour refrigerator'srearpanelwith a
steelclamp andscrew(seeillustration).
8 Coiltheexcesscoppertubing(about2½turns)behindyour
refrigeratorasshown.Arrangecoiledtubingtoavoidvibrationor
wear againstothersurfaces.
9 Openwater supplyshut-offvalveand tightenanyconnections
thatleak.

4 Placein PermanentPosition
Ifpossible,usea handtruckto positiontherefrigeratordirectlyinfrontof
itscabinetenclosure.
Becarefulnotto movetherefrigeratorbeyonditswatersupply(copper
tubing)connections.
Pluginthepowercord, andpushtherefrigeratorstraightbackinto
place.
5 LevelRefrigerator&Adjust Doors(ifnecessary)
Guidelinesforfinalpositioningofyourrefrigerator: ._
, Allfourcomemofthecabinetmustrestfirmlyonthefloor.
, Thecabinetshouldbelevelatthefrontandrear.

, ThesidesshouldtiltX-inch(6mm)fromfronttoback(to
ensurethatdoorscloseandsealproperly).
, Doorsshouldalignwitheachotherandbelevel.
Alloftheseconditionscanbemetbyraisingorloweringtheadjustablefront
rollers.
Tolevelthecabinetusingthefront rollers:
1 Openbothdoorsandremovethetoegrillebygentlypullingfo_vard.
2 Closethedoomanduseaflat-bladescrewdriveror3/8-inchsocket
wrenchtoraiseor lowerthefrontrollem.
3 Ensurebothdoomarebind-freewiththeirsealstouchingthecabinet
onallfoursides.
Tolevelthedoors usingthelowerbinge:(somemodels)
1 Iftherefrigeratordoorislowerthanthefreezerdoor,raisethe
RAISE RAISE
DOOR
refrigeratordoorbyturningtheadjustr_entscrewclockwise.
Ifthefreezerdoorislowerthantherefrigeratordoor,raise
thefreezerdoorbyturningtheadjustmentscrew
dockwise.
3 Replacethetoegrilleby fittingit intoplace.

Electroluxusespackingfoamand tapeto securethe internalpartsof your refrigeratorfor shipping.Oncethe
