2 Transport Unpackaged Refrigerator To Site
Bynow,you havealreadyremovedyourrefrigerator'sshippingcarton Youmay
still needto usea handtrucktomoveit throughdose spacesor entrances ifthe
refrigeratoris largerthanan entrance,considertwooptions:
• Removetheentrancedoorif oneexists
• Removethe refrigeratordoors(see howin yourUse& CareGuide)
When usinga handtruck:
• Loadrefrigeratorfromsideofcabinetonly
• Donotrunretainingstrapsoverhandles
• Donotover-tightenretainingstraps
• Neveruse refrigeratorhandlesto movethe refrigerator
• Removetapefromdoors onlyafter unitis in place
3 Connect Water Supply
What you will need:
• Accessto acoldwaterline
with pressureof
20-I00 psi

• Coppertubingwith¼-inch
(64ram)OD. Lengthfor thi_
tubingis thedistancefrom
therearof therefrigeratorto yourhousehold
watersupplyline plus 7feet (2.1meters)
• Ashut-offvalvefor theconnectionbetweenyourhousehold
waterfineandthe refrigeratorsupplyfine
Donot use aself-piercingshut-offvalve
• Acompressionnutandferrule(sleeve)forthe watersupply
connectionattherear ofyour refrigerator
Toconnect the water supply to the rear of your refrigerator:
! Ensurethattherefrigeratoris notpluggedin
2 Flushthesupplyfineuntilwateris clearby placingtheendof the
coppertube in a sinkor bucketandopeningtheshut-offvalve
3 Unscrewtheplasticcap fromthewatervalve inbt attherearof
yourrefrigerator Discardthecap
4 Slidethebrasscompressionnut,thentheferrule(sleeve)onto
copper tube
5 Pushthecoppertubeintowatervalveinletas faras itwillgo
(1/4 inch)
6 Slidetheferrule(sleeve)intovalveand finger-tightenthe
compressionnutontovalve Tightenanotherhalf turnwitha
wrench Do not over=tighten
7 Securethecoppertubetoyourrefrigerator'srearpanelwith a
steelclampandscrew(seei%stration)
8 Coil theexcesscoppertubing(about2%turns)behindyour
refrigeratorasshown Arrangeco%d tubingtoavoidvibrationor
wear againstothersurfaces
9 Openwatersupplyshut-offvalveandtightenanyconnections
thatleak
Piecein PermanentPosition
Ifpossible,usea handtruckto positiontherefrigeratordirectlyinfrontof
itscabinetenclosure
Becarefulnottomovethe refrigeratorbeyonditswatersupply(copper
tubing) connections
Pluginthe powercord, andpushthe rdrigerator straightbackinto
place.
5 Leve_Refrigerator&Adjust Doors(ifnecessary)
Guidelinesfor finalpositioningof yourrefrigerator:

on thefloor
, The cabinetshouldbelevel atthefrontand rear

8-inchsocketwrenchtoraiseor lowerthefront rollers
3 Ensurebothdoorsare bind-freewith theirseals
touchingthecabinetonall foursides.
4 Replacethetoe grilleby fittingit intoplaceand
refasteningitsmountingscrews
