Converts the RS232 Serial DB9 to USB for your computer
• Converts the PRS-801 connecon to USB
• Supports Windows 8, 7, Vista, 2000, XP, 98, Apple MAC O8 or higher, Linux 2.4.0 and later, Open-
BSD 2.9 and later & FreeBSD 4.7 and later
• Installed as a standard Windows COM ports, Full RS-232 modem control signals, RS-232 data
signals; TxD, RxD, RTS, CTS, DSR, DTR, DCD, RI, GND
• Provides instant connecvity with modems, ISDN terminal adapter, PDA, bar code scanner, label
printer, and devices with DB9 SERIAL ports
• Powered by USB port. Include a 33” long USB extension cable inside the package
Premium High Speed USB 2.0 Serial Adapter with FTDI Chipset for NoteBook and Laptop Users. It has
one Status LED and uses FTDI Chip for up to 230K Speed. Converts a USB port into a 9-pin male RS-
232 serial port capable of speeds up to 230,400 bps.
This USB Serial Adapter provides instant connecvity with modems, ISDN TAs, PDS, handheld &
pocket PCs, digital cameras, POS, serial printers, etc. It is suitable for remote access, retail and indus-
trial applicaons, data collecon and other applicaons requiring a High speed and or LOW serial
communicaons port.

Follow these steps to install on a Windows computer.
Drivers will be installed automacally on Windows Vista, Win7 and Win8. If your Operat-
ing System is Windows XP or older, you will need to install the drivers from the supplied
CD-ROM. You can also download the drivers from our website at hp://www.prostat-
corp.com/support.
1. Connect the Tera Grand USB adapter to
your computer’s USB port.
2. For Vista, Win7 and Win8, the drivers
should install automacally. If the install
is unsucessful, install the drivers from
the CD-ROM.
Once the drivers have been installed success-
fully, you need to make sure the COM Port
number is congured to listen on Port 1, 2, 3
or 4.
To congure the , do the

the SEND buon on the Resistance Instru-
ment.
2. All the Data Point stored in Memory will
be transferred into the .
