CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR
ART. 30009006
Specifications:
Detecting gas: carbon monoxide
Relay output: NC / NO selectable with jumper
Buzzer: > 85 dB (1m)
Case: ABS, white
Alarm density: 150 ppm
Alarm density error: ± 80 ppm
Power supply: 12V DC
Current absorption: 150mA max (110mA in stand by)
Operating temperature: from 0°C to +55°C
Operating humidity: 95% max (NOT condensing)
Dimensions (L x H x W): 70 x 115 x 44 mm
Standard accords: combustible gas detector GB15322-2003
General view:
This household carbon monoxide detector adopt SM
D and
advanced gas sensor that enables detecting the gas in
time and then send out the alarm signal.
1 – Green LED
2 – Red LED
3 – Yellow LED
4 - Gas convection windows
Connections:
Installation:
Choose the proper position from ceiling (0.3 ÷ 1m) to install the detector, be sure that the semi-diameter to
gas source is less than 1.5m
Fix the 86 x 86 box on the selected place by screws, then fix the detector on it
Note: avoid installing the detector close to the following sources of interference: near the cooker, direct air flow
form vents, fans, doors, windows, sources of steam, oil vapor, etc.
Operating instructions:
The detector can be used independently or to activate an external device (e.g. the e-valves art. 30009091 and
30009092).
1A – Independently.
Choosing a suitable position to install the detector according to the INSTALLATION
With 12V DC power supply and after the warm-up (the green LED flashes per second for 2 minutes), the
detector comes into normal detecting state
1B – To activate an external device.
Choosing a suitable position to install the detector according to the INSTALLATION. Connect the external
device with the contacts NC or NO of the output relay
With 12V DC power supply and after the warm-up (the green LED flashes per second for 2 minutes), the
detector comes into normal detecting state
2 - While detected the carbon monoxide, the red LED flashes, the buzzer sends out the alarm sound and the
relay will be activate. The detector will resume to the detecting state when the gas density is lower than the
alarm level.
3 - The yellow LED on means the sensor inside error. Please cut off the power supply and contact the installer.
4
- If the detector runs disorderly, cut the power off and rerun again. If still in error, please contact the installer.
Test:
To test the detector, you can give some gas around in distance of 5cm to the gas convection windows by using
an ignition lighter. Gas testing frequently may result in reducing the sensitivity of the detector. The alarm
density of gas is set according with the criteria of GB15322-2003. The detector will stop alarm and resume
the detecting state while the gas density reduced.
P1: +12V DC
P2: GND
OUT1 – OUT2: relay output
SIG1: GND valve control
SIG2: +12V DC valve control
Led information:
RED LED FLASH
Gas leak
GREEN LED FLASH Warm-up
GREEN LED ON Work normally
YELLOW LED ON
Inside error
Maintenance:
The user must brush and clean the gas convection windows with a little of cleanser every three months, avoid
the cleanser into the detector in the cleaning process, and must retest the detector after cleaning.
Notice:
The detector must be installed and connected correctly. It can not work if the power supply is missed
Please periodically maintenance according to the directions
Do not put the product under high temperature (e.g.: close the oven) and in lampblack (e.g.: close the
exhaust)
Avoid to use the stimulus near the detector (e.g.: fixature, insecticide, oil paint)
Avoid to disassembly the detector by yourself
For various reasons, including, but not limited to, changes in environmental conditions, electric or
electronic disruptions and tampering, the product may not perform as expected. The user is advised to
take all necessary precautions for his/her safety and the protection of his/her property.
Emergency treatment:
Shut down the tube valve right away
Open the window and make the air flow rapidly
Check the reason of gas leaking and notice the relative departments and professional persons in time
