12. Place the appliance on a firm, even and dry
surface. Never place the appliance on hot
or metal surfaces or surfaces covered with
drapery.
13. Keep sufficient distance to objects that
react to magnetism like bank cards, radios,
televisions, video cassettes, etc.
14. The appliance is not intended for outdoor
use.
15. During operation keep sufficient distance to
the walls and inflammable objects like e.g.
curtains.
16. Do not operate the appliance near any heat
source.
17. The appliance may not be fitted into a fixed
worktop.
18. Only use cookware suitable for induction hot
plates.
19. The appliance heats up very quickly. Heating
up empty pots may damage the appliance as
well as the cookware.
20. Only switch the appliance on if the pot on
the induction hotplate is not empty. Do not
overfill the pots to avoid boiling over.
21. In case boiling over occurs, first disconnect
the plug from the wall socket. Please clean
the appliance thoroughly and let it dry well.
22. Do not leave metal objects like knives or
forks on the induction hot plate as these
may heat up when switching the appliance
on.
23. Do not heat up closed tins as they may
burst.
24. Make sure that the ventilation slots of the
appliance are neither covered nor blocked.
25. During operation do not move the appliance.
Before moving the appliance, please switch
it off and remove the pots.
26. Do not drop objects on the glass surface.
Risk of breakage! If the glass surface
presents cracks or other damages, the
appliance may not be used anymore and
must be sent to our after-sales service for
repair.
27. The appliance should not be used for
continuous operation beyond 4 hours. In
case of continuous operation, switch the
appliance off occasionally for a minimum of
30 minutes.
28. The glass surface may become hot due
to heat radiation from the cooking ware.
Therefore, do not touch the surface
immediately after cooking.
29. Do not drag or pull the pots over the control
and indication panels as they may be
damaged.
30. Do not place any objects, foil or similar
between the pot and the induction hot plate.
31. Do not place any hot pots on the control
panel.
32. After use and before moving the appliance
or before cleaning it, switch the appliance
off, disconnect the plug from the wall socket
and let it cool off.
33. Check the plug and lead cable regularly for
wear and damage. In case the lead cable,
the glass surface or other parts present
damages, please send the appliance to
our after-sales service for inspection and
repair (for address, see warranty terms).
Unauthorised repairs can constitute serious
risks for the user and void the warranty.
34. If the lead cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its after-
sales service or a similarly qualified person
in order to avoid any hazard.

1. Remove all packaging material.
2. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
3. Place the appliance on an even, firm and dry
surface with sufficient space on all sides.
4. Connect the plug to a wall socket.
