CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE YOU USE THE HIGH LIFT!
1. SPECIAL SAFETY RULES
Non-observance of the following instruc-
tions can cause personal injuries and/or
damage to the vehicle.
1. Place the saddle of the high lifting jack only in the
spot designed for this purpose. For the relevant lif-
ting points please refer to your car instructions.
2. The maximum load indicated on the jack must
never be exceeded.
3. The jack must be used as a lifting device only.
4. Always place the jack on a hard and level surface.
5. Always protect the car from rolling away. Before
jacking up the car, place chocks behind and in front
of the wheels remaining on the ground, if necessa-
ry. Put the car in first gear or put on the handbrake
to further block the car.
6. Make sure to place the jack in such a way that your
hand is not underneath the car when jacking it up.
7. Make sure the jack is horizontal.
8. For your own safety, before working or crawling
underneath the car jack up the car and support the
shafts.
9. Before using the shaft supports make sure they are
in good condition.
2. OPERATION
The hand lever, handle and foot lever first have to be
attached before lifting operations can be started.
1. ATTACHMENT OF THE LEVERS
The handles are simple to attach to the hand lever.
Place the levers in the appropriate openings and fix
them by means of the bolt and nut. Make sure that the
hand lever is inserted as far as possible into the ope-
ning. Then tighten the bolt and nut to enable the high
lift to be moved using the hand lever.
2. LIFTING
Move the high lift into the correct position (as indica-
ted on the vehicle by the manufacturer). Turn the hand
lever knob as far as possible to the right in a clockwise
direction. The high lift is now ready to lift. Place the
high lift in a horizontal position on a flat surface and
start to pump by moving the lever up and down. You
can also use your foot to pump the foot lever.
3. AXLE SUPPORTS
Once the vehicle has been raised into position, axle
supports have to be put into place. Allow the vehicle
to sink down by turning the lever to the left until it is
resting on the axle supports. There must be absolutely
no work carried out under any vehicle which is only
supported by the high lift.
4. LOWERING
After work has been completed, the vehicle can be jac-
ked up again until it is free of the axle supports. These can
then be removed. Turn the knob on the lever to the left
and the vehicle will be lowered. The further the lever is
turned to the left, the faster the vehicle will be lowered.
3. MAINTENANCE
REGULAR MAINTENANCE OF YOUR HIGH LIF-
TING JACK PREVENTS PROBLEMS.
1. Once a month the wheels, shafts and piston rods
should be lubricated with lubricating oil and grease
on the pivots of the lifting rods.
2. The tank containing hydraulic oil is a closed tank
which usually does not require maintenance.
When frequently used, but at least on ce a year,
