This soft, quilted carrier allows you to
carry your baby facing in or facing out,
and features a unique open-sided
design that makes it easy to place
baby in the carrier.

1. Slip your head through the center opening made by the crossed
backstrap. The backplate should rest against your back, with the
BabyVision logo facing out.
2. Snap together the large waist buckles as shown.
(Be sure backstraps do not become twisted.)
Adjust backstraps for a secure, comfortable fit. To tighten: Pull ends
of both backstraps backward at the same time. To loosen: Push
forward on the edge of both waist buckles at the same time.

1. Place baby in the carrier through the
open side. Fit baby's right leg into the
leg opening so that baby is facing you.
Note: Always be sure to hold baby in
place while carrier is unbuckled.
2. Use your left arm to support baby as
you snap the ends of the open-sided
buckle together under baby's arm.
3. Use your arm to support baby as you
snap the ends of the small headrest
buckles together on both sides.
4. Adjust headrest for desired support
with drawstring. (Do not make fit too
snug; leave room for baby's head.)
5. To protect your clothing when baby
faces in, fasten the bib to the shoulder
straps as shown. Use the elasticized
pocket on the front of the carrier to
store bib and other small accessories.
FOR OLDER BABIES (FACING OUT)
PROPER CARRIER FIT
1. Fit baby's left leg into the leg
opening so that baby is facing out.
Note: Always be sure to hold baby
in place while carrier is unbuckled.
2. Fold headrest flap down as shown.
3. Use your left arm to support baby
as you snap the ends of the buckle
together.
4a. For SMALLER babies facing out.
Fold headrest down for smaller
babies facing out: While supporting
baby, place baby's arms through
arm holes as shown. Snap the ends
of the small headrest buckles
together on both sides.
4b. For BIGGER babies facing out.
Fold headrest down for bigger
babies facing out: While supporting
baby, snap small headrest buckles
together under baby's arms.
NOTE: SEE "PROPER CARRIER FIT"
ABOVE TO CORRECTLY POSITION
THE CARRIER AFTER PLACING BABY

6. To help reduce the pressure on
your back, the carrier should be
positioned high on your chest
(see illustration for
correct and incorrect positioning).
7. To readjust carrier for final fit, lift
baby with one hand and use the
other hand to pull end of backstrap
to tighten. Then switch hands to
support baby and tighten other
backstrap.

TO REMOVE THE CARRIER
Note: Be sure to support baby as you unbuckle the carrier.
1. Unsnap small white headrest buckles.
2. Unsnap open-sided buckles.
3. Remove baby.
4. Unsnap large backstrap buckles.
WASHING/DRYING INSTRUCTIONS
Place carrier in pillow case and tie ends closed. Machine wash cold with
mild detergent and like colors. Gentle cycle. Do not use bleach.
Tumble dry low with baby carrier in pillow case.
WARNING!:
• Failure to follow these warnings and the use instructions provided with this
product may result in serious injury or death.
• Use for children 6 pounds (2.7 kg) to 26 pounds (11.8 kg).
• This carrier is designed for use by adults while walking only. Never carry
your child in the carrier while engaging in physical activities such as
jogging, biking and aerobic exercises.
• This carrier is not meant for holding infants in motor vehicles and should
not be used in place of a car seat.
• Never use carrier like a backpack --
Always carry baby in front of you.
• Be sure to bend at the knees (not waist) when stooping, to help ensure that
baby remains securely inside the carrier.
• Never carry your baby facing out if he or she is not capable of keeping head
and shoulders upright independently.
• Do not use this carrier if baby cannot be properly positioned with legs
straddling the seat and both arms extending through the armholes. Do not
use additional padding.
Always keep loose ends of waist strap tucked into waistband.
• Be sure all buckles are firmly fastened.
• This product is subject to normal wear and tear during its proper use. The
user should inspect the product before each use for signs of excessive wear,
such as loose seams, tears or broken hardware. DO NOT USE THIS
CARRIER IF ANY SIGNS OF EXCESSIVE WEAR ARE FOUND.
