N.B. This appliance is controlled by sensors. The excess of detergent in the dispenser could cause technical problems.

Prewash cycle increases programme duration by 5 to 15 min. Consumption values were measured in normalized
conditions in compliance with Standard IEC 60 456. Consumption data in the home may vary with respect to the values
in the table in relation to the water supply pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash.
ADDING DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES
Add the detergent and the additives into the chamber as follows:
Programme with pre and main wash
Main wash programme without prewash
Fabric softeners and conditioners
Chlorine bleach
Stain remover agents
Anti-scale agents (water hardness 4)
Important:
Be careful not to fill more than the
MAX
level mark.
For programme with pre-wash: do not use liquid detergents.
For programmes without prewash from cold to 40° C it is recommended to use a liquid detergent
to avoid whitish residues on the coloured laundry.
CLOSE THE DOOR AND SELECT THE PROGRAMME
1. Turn the
programme selector knob
to the desired programme.
2. The remaining time indication lights up and the Start button is flashing.
3. Turn the
temperature knob
to the required temperature.
4. Turn the
spin speed selector
to the required setting.
PRESS ANY DESIRED OPTION BUTTON(S). The pilot lamp lights up.
Intensive Rinse button
For improved rinsing efficiency the rinse water level and the cycle time are increased.
This option is particularly suitable for areas with very soft water washing baby linen and helps
people with allergies.
Rinse Hold button
The laundry remains in the last rinse water without progressing to the spin cycle to avoid creasing
and prevent colours from changing.
This option is particularly recommended for the programme Synthetics or Delicate.
This function is particularly useful if you want to postpone spinning to a later time.
Note: The programme is stopped in Rinse Hold at the time the Rinse Hold button flashes.
Terminate the Rinse Hold option:
Press the Rinse Hold button again; the programme will terminate automatically with the spin
cycle for the present wash programme.
If you do not wish to spin the clothes, turn the programme selector knob to the drain programme
and push the Start button.
Prewash button
Only for heavily soiled loads (for example sand, granular dirt) sensible.
The cycle time increases from 5 to 15 min.
START DELAY BUTTON
Select the programme and the option (if necessary). The remaining time indication lights up;
Press the Start Delay button to select the delay time by 2, 4, 6, 8 hours;
Press the Start button. The Start Delay light flashes until the programme starts.
The number of hours preselected can later be reduced pressing again the Start Delay button.
To cancel the Start Delay.
Turn the programme selector to the position.
PROGRAMME START
Open the tap and press the Start button. The pilot lamp lights up.
DOOR LOCK
During the running programme the door can be opened for adding further laundry.
The door locks automatically in all rinsing and spinning cycles. If the programme is stopped or the
electrical power supply is terminated, the door lock will open after approximately 1 minute.
Note:
If you open the door during the programme, the Start button is flashing. Press it again to
continue the cycle.
PROGRAMME END
The rest time display is on End.
1. Turn the programme selector to the
position.
2. Turn the water supply tap off.
3. Open the door and the drum flaps and unload the machine.
CHANGE THE PROGRAMME AND OPTIONS AFTER PROGRAMME START
1. Press the Start button to pause the programme. The light flashes.
2. Select the new programme, temperature, spin speed or options.
3. Press the Start button to start the programme again.
TO CANCEL A PROGRAMME BEFORE THE END
1. Press the Start button to pause the programme. The light flashes.
2. Set the programme selector to Drain.
3. Press the Start button to start the drain programme.
The door is unlocked as soon as the rest time display is on End.
AUTOMATIC SAFETY FUNCTIONS / FAULTS
This washing machine is equipped with automatic safety functions which detect and diagnose faults at
an early stage and react appropriately. Often, however, the faults detected are small enough to be
solved in a matter of minutes. For example:
The washing machine will not start.
The additive products are not being fully washed out of the detergent dispenser.
The washing machine is unstable during the spin cycle.
The washing machine does not spin at the end of the programme.

What should I do when the automatic safety detects a malfunction?
