Introduction
Thank you for choosing Omnilux new-U, an
FDA cleared, handheld, Light Emitting Diode
(LED) device for the treatment of periorbital
wrinkles (crowsfeet). Its patented technology
bathes the skin in alternating red and infrared
light, stimulating the deeper skin tissue, leading
to reduction of periorbital wrinkles. (See the
‘Indications for Use’ section for more information
about periorbital wrinkles).
Dermatologists all over the world have been
using Professional Omnilux products for many
years to successfully treat periorbital wrinkles.
Omnilux new-U uses the same LED technology
but in a small and convenient home use package.
Now the power of light is in your hands!
To help you get started, we have put together
some of the frequently asked questions about
periorbital wrinkles - crowsfeet. Please read
the entire Omnilux new-U user guide before
operating the unit.
As we grow older, the amount of collagen, the
major supporting protein of the skin, diminishes
and our skin becomes less flexible. In addition, our
skin becomes drier and thinner, and as the body’s
natural regeneration process slows down, the skin
slowly loses its ability to retain moisture and loses
that “teenage” glow. The harmful rays in sunlight
further damage the skin’s supportive structure and
prevent the creation of new collagen. This leads
to the development of fine lines and wrinkles,
especially in the area around the eye (periorbital
wrinkles – crowsfeet). Omnilux new-U LED therapy
works with the body’s own natural processes to
reduce the appearance of perioribital wrinkles.
Medical research has demonstrated that light can
target cells within the body, which are responsible
for the synthesis of collagen. 1,2,3,4,5
In a trial using Omnilux new-U, 7 out of 10
subjects reported a visible reduction in fine
lines and wrinkles and 7 out of 10 reported an
improvement in skin clarity.
