Important Safeguard
1. Read all of these instructions.
2. Unplug this monitor from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol
cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
3. Do not use this monitor near water. For example near a bathtub, washbowl , kitchen sink, or
laundry tub, in a wet basement , or near a swimming pool, etc…
4. Do not place this monitor on an unstable cart, stand, or table. The monitor may fall, causing
serious injury to a child or adult, and serious damage to the appliance. Use only with a cart or
stand recommended by the manufacturer or sold with monitor. Only use mounting kit(s) that are
approved by the manufacturer. Any wall or shelf mounting are to be done in accordance to the
instructions set by the manufacturer.
5. Slots and openings in the cabinet such as the back or bottom should be provided for ventilation.
To insure reliable operation of the television receiver and to protect it from overheating, these
openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the
monitor on a bed, sofa, rug or any other similar surface. This monitor should also not be placed
in a bookcase unless proper ventilation is provided.
6. Do not allow anything to rest on the power cord. Do not position this monitor where the cord will
be susceptible to damage.
7. Do not insert any objects into this monitor through cabinet slots as they may hit dangerous
voltage points or damage mechanical parts that could result in permanent damage or electric
shock. Never spill liquid of any kind onto the monitor.
8. Do not attempt to service this monitor yourself since opening or removing covers may expose
you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
9. Unplug this monitor from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under
the following :
a) When the power cord or plug is damaged or frayed.
b) If liquid has been spilled onto the monitor.
c) If the monitor has been exposed to rain or water.
d) If the monitor has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged.
e) When the monitor exhibits a distinct change in performance. This indicates the need for
servicing.

For VOLUME function, please ensure the audio is connected to the sound card of the computer or
to the output source of any media player with 3.5mm stereo socket.

Chapter 3 Installation
Whenever you connect a video system to your set, ensure that all elements are switched off. Refer to
the documentation supplied with your equipment for a detailed connection instructions and safeguard
information.
3.1 Connecting a Computer
3.1.1 Unplug or disconnect the signal cord connector from your existing PC video connector
and LCD/CRT Monitor, IF ANY,
3.1.2 Plug in or connect the signal cord connector to the PC video connector,
3.1.3 Plug in or connect the power cord to the LCD Monitor, and
3.1.4 Turn power plug socket switch ON to supply voltage to both PC and Monitor,
3.1.5 Turn power button switch ON for both PC and Monitor,
3.1.6 For most OS, Monitor is Plug & Play without driver installation required.
3.2 Connecting a Laptop
Ensure the Laptop comes with a video output connector, then follow the procedures stated
below:
3.2.1 Unplug or disconnect the signal cord connector from your existing PC video connector
and LCD/CRT Monitor, IF ANY,
3.2.2 Plug in or connect the signal cord connector to the Laptop's video output connector,
3.2.3 Plug in or connect the power cord to the LCD Monitor, and
3.2.4 Turn power plug socket switch ON to supply voltage to both PC and Monitor,
3.2.5 Turn power button switch ON for both Laptop and Monitor,
3.2.6 Press video output button from Laptop with special key combination (different
combination in various type of laptop).
3.3 Connecting an Audio
3.3.1 Connect the stereo audio cable to the “PC AUDIO IN(STEREO)” jack to the rear of your
LCD monitor and the other end to the “Audio Out” jack of the sound card on your
computer.

Chapter 4 Operation
4.1 Power (ON/OFF) Switch Button
This button is used to turn the monitor on and off.
NOTE: The ON/OFF switch button does not disconnect the device from the main voltage. To
completely disconnect the main voltage, please remove the power plug from the socket.
4.2 Power LED/Indicator
GREEN lights indicate that the monitor operates normally.
Blinking GREEN lights indicate that there is no input signal from computer.
DARK (no lights) indicates that the monitor is turned off.
4.3 Auto
Press AUTO button and release, the auto adjust display mode will tune to the utmost
performance according to VGA settings.
4.4 Menu Features
The following features can be accessed using monitor on screen menu system.
Press   button to move menu selection up or adjust increasing.
Press   button to move menu selection down or adjust decreasing.
Press MENU button to confirm selection or setting.
Press EXIT button to go back to previous menu, or exit from the screen menu system.
4.5 OSD Menu
Main Menu
OSD Main Menu gives user an overview of the selection of controls available. When the user
wants to adjust the screen image, the user will press and release the Menu button.
The OSD Main Menu consists of:

1.1 Brightness adjustment
To adjust the image brightness to suit the user viewing requirements.
1.2 Contrast adjustment
To adjust the image contrast to obtain the best display on screen.

3. Color Temperature Adjustment
3.1 Warm
This control adjusts the color temperature of the screen image, preset by default.
3.2 Cool
This control adjusts the color temperature of the screen image, preset by default.
3.3 User
Increase or decrease red, green or blue depending on user viewing requirements.
4. OSD Tools
4.1 OSD Horizontal Position
To move the OSD image horizontally left or right.
4.2 OSD Vertical Position
To move the OSD image vertically up or down.
5. Language
Various type of OSD languages available as:

5.2 Troubleshooting
Before calling for service, check the information in this section to see if you can remedy any
problems. Should you require any further assistance, please contact the dealer from whom you
purchased the LCD monitor.
5.3.1 There is no SCREEN image
Check if the power cord is securely connected to the monitor, the adapter and the
wall outlet.
Check if the signal cable is connected between the monitor and the computer.
Check if the monitor is in power saving mode.
5.3.2 Display image is too large or small
Use the OSD controls to adjust Auto Setup.
5.3.3 The color are distorted
Check if the signal cable is properly connected.
Use the OSD controls to adjust the color control setting.
5.3.4 The image is too light or too dark
Use the OSD controls to adjust the brightness and contrast.
5.3.5 There is no sound or sound is low
Check the sound cable connection.
Make sure the computer sound program is working.
Adjust the volume on sound setting. Adjust your sound card or computer volume
setting.
Adjust the volume control keys on the monitor.
5.3.6 The screen appearing up and down H-rolling scan
Make sure the view of input signal is within the order of the monitor (60Hz –
75Hz)
5.3.7 How to clean the monitor
Make sure monitor is turn off.
Do not spray any liquid on the screen.
Use clean, soft and no fur cloth to clean the monitor screen.
A little non-ammonia liquid and non-alcohol glass cleaner is allowed to be used for
cleaning.
5.3.8 How to clean the cabinet
Use soft dry cloth
A little non-ammonia liquid and non-alcohol of non-abrasion cleanser is allowed to
use for cleaning the surface.
