Battery protection
The Arcade drone is equipped with low-voltage protection, meaning that when the battery reaches a low capacity,
the programmed control system will stop the electrical supply to the rotors. Once this happens, recharge the battery
fully before using the drone. When the blades are jammed, to prevent damage, the control system will stop electricity
to the rotors.

Controller overview
The Arcade drone controller can be used in 2 modes:
Mode 1 (default) The left stick controls pivotal turning, the right stick controls lateral ight.
Mode 2 The left stick controls lateral ight, the right stick controls pivotal turning.
To toggle between the two controller modes, press and hold the Control Mode Switch until you hear a beep sound.
The Arcade drone has three different programmed speeds. Toggle through these three speed settings using the
Speed Select button. Press to hear 1 beep for speed 1 (slow), 2 beeps for speed 2 (medium) and 3 beeps for
speed 3 (fast). Speed 3 is required for the ips and rolls manoeuvres (see Flips and rolls).
The Arcade drone has an auto-trim function (ne-tunes all rotors balance). Use this function if your Arcade drone is
not hovering in a balanced position. To auto-trim all the rotors, turn on the drone, place it on a at surface, and power
the controller (push the power button upwards) whilst holding down the Auto-trim button.

Flips and rolls
Now you have the basics of ying, you are now ready to put your skills to the test. Select the third speed mode and
start learning to ip and roll your drone, and master full aerial acrobatics.
To do this select the highest speed mode; see Controller functions for details.
The top left trigger controls the speed modes, and pressing this changes the level of speed of the drone:
– speed 1 (default)
– speed 2 (two beeps)
– speed 3 (three beeps)
To perform a ip or roll, press the top trigger twice, make sure the drone is at least 3 metres off the ground, and
quickly push the right ight stick (Rudder) in either direction to make the drone ip or roll. Once the manoeuvre is
completed, steady the drone. It is recommended to press the trigger once more to set it back to speed mode 1.
Note: The ips and rolls directional functions can be different, depending on which Control mode was set on the
controller (Mode 1 and 2). Refer back to Controller overview for these instructions.

Maintenance
1. Wipe the drone with clean, dry soft cloth.
2. Avoid irreparable damage by not using the drone in the rain or near water.
3. Check the drone and accessories for damage. If damage is found, do not use the drone until you have replaced
the damaged parts.
Replacing damaged blades
Your drone comes with four replacement blades. The four blades are divided into two different forms. These are set 1 and
set 2, each are visibly differentiated by the icons on the underneath of each blade. Before applying a replacement blade,
check for the 1 or 2 icon beneath both the damaged and replacement blades to make sure they match.
To replace a blade, carefully pull it upwards and it will come away from the motor. Next exchange the damaged blade
with the new one, by placing it over the motor pin and pushing downwards. Make sure it is fully in place by giving it a
nal push and manually spin it with your nger, to check it turns correctly.

Remote controlled aircraft: responsible ying
This drone is a toy, but that does not mean that you should not take care when you are ying it, both inside and
outside. If your drone has a camera attached, or it is being own for a commercial reason, the UK law states
that your drone will be treated like any other aircraft. This means that there are certain laws that you need to
follow when you are playing with your drone – for your own safety, and the safety of others:
1. When you play with the drone, you are completely responsible for it.
2. You should always be able to see your drone when you are ying it.
3. As you are in control of the drone, it is up to you to ensure that it does not crash into other people, or
other objects.
4. Residential streets and town centres are examples of congested areas. Drones must stay away from
congested areas by at least 150 metres.
5. Your drone must be at least 50 metres away from any vehicles, buildings or structures, or any person
whether alone or in a group – irrespective of the height of your drone.
6. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) must be informed if you intend to use any camera footage from your
drone to earn money.
7. You should not y your drone near any aireld or airport, or near any power installations such as pylons.
Remember: UK Aviation Law is there to protect you and everyone else, and there are severe repercussions
if you break these laws, including the potential of criminal prosecution.
For more details on this, and information about how to y your drone safely, visit: www.caa.co.uk/uas
Please check the local regulations and legislations before you y your drone.
