Never direct the microphone at the sound outlet of loudspeakers, as this can result in

3. You can feed the microphone cable through clothing or holes in accessories.
b) Using the microphone
1. Turn o the audio device to which the microphone will be connected. Turn the sensitivity of
your audio device to zero using the corresponding input level control (refer to the operating
instructions of the audio device you are using).
2. Insert the 3.5 mm jack plug on the microphone cable into the corresponding microphone
connection on your audio device.
3. Turn on your audio device with the connected sound source (loudspeakers).
4. Test the microphone by speaking a few words (e.g. counting whole numbers) whilst slowly
moving the input level control on the audio device upwards until the desired output volume
is reached.
Air movements such as wind, moving the microphone or breathing create deep
frequencies in the sound spectrum. The attached windscreen made of sponge
prevents such sounds from being recorded.
