Getting started

3. Hold the unit with one hand and

make sure the cover is securely in

place. Presstheswitch-onbutton

on the cover with the other hand. To

stop grinding, release the switch-on

button. Do not remove the cover

before the blades have stopped

rotating. This appliance is intended

foranoperationmaximumof60

seconds on.

1. Before using your grinder for the

rst time, wipe the stainless steel

container, blades and cover with a

damp cloth. Allow to dry completely

before using.

2. Remove cover and ll coee

beans, dry spices or herbs into

the stainless steel bowl. Do not

exceed60gramsofcontentsweighed

atatime.Placethecoveronthe

appliance. Connect the plug to the

mains supply.

level surface.

• Alwaysdisconnecttheappliancefrom

the supply if it is left unattended and

before assembling, disassembling or

cleaning.

• Nevertouchthebladesorinserts

with your hand or any tools while the

appliance is plugged in.

• Thebladesandinsertsareverysharp!

4. Experimenting with the length of

grind will enable you to get exactly

the grinding you prefer for the

coee/spices. Whenthebladeshave

stopped unplug the unit. Remove the

coverandthegroundcoee/spices

are ready for use.

5. Before cleaning, unplug the

appliance.Wipetheblades,stainless

steel bowl, exterior and motor base

with a damp cloth or paper towel to

removeanyexcessgroundcoee.

Caution: Never immerse the

machine parts in liquid! Washthe

cover in warm, soapy water. Rinse and

dry completely.
