STEP 2: Align the holster on your club
• Open holster clamps and slide holster onto the club
sha directly below the grip
• Holster should be mounted with printed club aligned
with the actual golf club
• Li, view, and align grooves on club with Sight Lever
• Once aligned, close lever and secure clamps around
club sha
Note: If holster is loose, wrap and stick one of the supplied shims
around the club sha to increase resistance.

STEP 1: Charging your sensor
• Remove SwingTIP sensor, holster and Micro-USB
cable from the packaging
• Pull-back rubber cap from bottom of sensor
• Plug USB cable into sensor and powered USB port (e.g.
computer or USB-to-AC adapter). LED will turn amber,
indicating charging and solid green when charged
Note: Some computer operating systems require that the com-
puter be on, plugged-in and not in sleep-mode for the USB port to
be active and supplying power. If in doubt, you can use the USB to
AC adapter supplied with your Android or Apple mobile device to
charge SwingTIP via a standard wall outlet.

IMPORTANT
Please start by charging your SwingTIP sensor for 2-hours or
until the power LED turns a solid green. We also recommend
that you fully charge your sensor before each use to ensure
that you are able to capture the maximum number of swings.
This Quick Start Guide provides an easy-to-follow set of
instructions that will ensure proper setup. If you encounter

STEP 3: Download the SwingTIP app
The SwingTIP mobile app is available for both Android and
Apple iOS devices.
For Android Devices
• Tap on Google Play and search for “SwingTIP”
For Apple iOS Devices
• Tap on App Store and search for “SwingTIP”

STEP 4: Registering SwingTIP app and
enabling MySwingTIP.com account
Aer you open the SwingTIP app, you must choose one of
the following options:
• Create an Account - Create a login prole (email
address and password). Once created, the App and
your MySwingTIP account are connected so you can
transmit swing metrics data to MySwingTIP. Enter
the same login information at MySwingTIP.com to
access your account.
• Skip registration - If no Wi-Fi or cellular connection
is available at set-up, you can skip registration until
a later time. Please note, that you must register in
order to create a MySwingTIP account and sync
swing metrics data to it.
• Login - Enter email address and password used to
create account. Once logged in, the App and your
MySwingTIP account are connected so swing metrics
data can be transmitted to your MySwingTIP account.
Note: You will not be able to sync swing metric data to
MySwingTIP.com, until registration has been completed.
STEP 6: Take rst swing... see results
• Slide the sensor down onto the holster clamp
(LED light should be on top)
• Android users, tap the
Swing button on the
main menu
• iOS users, you should
already be on Swing
page upon entering app
• When the on-screen
Bluetooth symbol and
battery charge-level
indicators are white,
you are ready to take a swing
• Tap on the lower le Club Icon
to select the desired club type
• Take a swing at a golf ball; wait a few seconds for
swing trace and metrics to display on the screen
(Note: You must hit a ball or the results may not display)
• Tap each on-screen metric icon to view specic
instruction tips and videos
Note: To turn the sensor o manually, press the button twice in
quick succession. The sensor will auto-shuto 15 minutes aer
the last swing.
STEP 5: One-time pairing of SwingTIP sensor
to my mobile device
Power on SwingTIP - Press power button momentarily.
LED will turn Amber. Within a few seconds, sensor will go
into discovery mode and ash alternating Amber/Green.
For iOS devices
• Tap on Settings --> Bluetooth
make sure Bluetooth is turned “On”
• Wait a few seconds for SwingTIP device
to appear under ‘Devices’
• Tap on SwingTIP ID # to pair device
• Press Home button to return to Main menu and
launch SwingTIP app
For Android devices
• Tap the Swing button in SwingTIP menu
• At, “Pair a SwingTIP sensor.” prompt, tap OK
• Search for Nearby Devices and select SwingTIP ID #
• Tap the Back arrow to return to SwingTIP app
Note: If no pairing occurs, make sure under Select Sensor in
Settings menu that radio box is selected and highlighted in Green.
Note: Pairing the SwingTIP sensor is similar to pairing your
mobile device to any Bluetooth device (e.g. headset). For
online instructions visit www.swingtip.com/page/pairing
STEP 7: Auto-capture video...
view stance and technique
• Tap on the camera icon
on the Swing page
• Position your phone or tablet approx. 8-10 feet from
your address position
• Look at the display on your phone or tablet and conrm
that you can see yourself positioned correctly on the
display. If not, adjust the position of your phone or tablet
accordingly.
• Once in the desired position, take a swing! You will see
a status bar on the display as the swing trace data and
video are captured on your SwingTIP app.
• Once the import process is complete, you can stop and
view your video or you can proceed with recording your
next swing.
• To share your video, tap on the Email icon to send your
video to a friend or coach.
Note: The SwingTIP app is smart enough to auto-truncate the
start and stop point of the video clip.
