AMG AMG2005-48 is a standard 19" rack-mount subrack intended to be powered from a -48 volt supply. It is designed to house AMG 2000, 3600, 3700, 4600 4700, and 2900 series video transmission equipment. It takes one -48, DC input power feed and converts this to a 15-volt power rail. The front panel LED indicates the presence of power on the 15-volt rail.

The AMG2005-48 Subrack is a standard 19" rack-mount subrack intended to be power from a 48 volt
supply. It is designed to house AMG 2000, 3600, 3700, 4600 4700 and 2900 series video transmission
equipment.
It takes one -48, DC input power feed and converts this to a 15 volt power rail which is then in turn
connected to the rear power distribution panel to power the plug-in units. The front panel LED
indicates the presence of power on 15 volts rail.

Mounting Details
The unit is designed to be mounted within a standard 19” rack. Care should be taken with regard to air
circulation when populated, taking into account the total heat dissipation of the equipment installed. An
air circulation gap above and below the subrack is recommended when populated to full power
capacity of 75 watts. Alternatively use in conjunction with a fan tray.
Safety
The 2000-48 should only be fed from low voltage 48 volt supply. Only AMG equipment should be
plugged into the subrack.

There are no user serviceable parts within the AMG2000-48 products.
